"Loved this quaint & quirky hotel; it's above the bar & restaurant. Staff was helpful & friendly. The rooms are up a steep staircase, with no lift as are many hotels in Netherlands. But the rooms are very quaint, many with exposed beams and period furnishing. The rooms were also huge! Some have an aircon unit and others had a fan only. We ate dinner at the restaurant, sitting on the outside deck, overlooking the canal and lovely bridge. We were on a 30 day Europe trip and this was my favorite hotel! It doesn't have lots of ammenities, but has lots of charm & a great location!"

"This place is my favourite place in the surroundings of Amsterdam, where I have stayed a couple of times and carried out business meetings. It is a beautiful place with very nice rooms and most importantly, very, very nice owners - you almost feel like home. Normally, I would not post such a positive review to make sure that I will get a room at an affordable rate in the future as well, but one has to support the owners, because they deserve it."
