Booked this apartment through travel republic for 5 nights Arrived at 10pm Met by an extremely horrible male that said as it was after 8pm our booking was classed as a no show and the room was no longer available I called Travel Republic emergency number begging for help I was advised to find another hotel for the night and TR would cover this cost thankfully I asked for that confirmation by email. In the mean time the receptionist called the police in which four police officers arrived at the hotel to remove us from the building, as three professional ladies in our mid fifties this was not only extremely embaressing but so frightening. We were put to the streets with nowhere to go, after going to every hotel In the area we finally got a room at 2 am. In the morning we went back to Regina to be told by another unhelpful receptionist the room was classed as a no show and sold.. I called @travelrepublic yet again to be told that they were taking no responsibility as I should of emailed the property to tell them we would not be there to after 8pm and that it was stated in hotel voucher. And would not!!! be refunding the £145 I paid for the hotel the previous night . Thankfully I had the email for the guy that had confirmed they would cover it. Now we were finding ourselves in a foreign country in 38 degrees heat with absolutely nowhere to stay as it being August everywhere was fully booked or costing £3000. We proceeded to spend a further 40 euro in taxis trying to find another hotel my friend then collapsed with heat exhaustion and stress of it all. Eventually around 4pm we got an apartment costing us a further 700 euro for the remainder of our stay.... Travel Republic thinks this is acceptable behaviour and told me it was my own fault as I hadn't read the hotel voucher and it was a non cancellation booking ... I did not cancel the apartment they did !! Do not book thois hotel or use Travel Republic. Has anyone experienced thos behaviour

Please please please do not book this place. You are lured into booking this place because of the price and you may say you pay for what you get. This place is disgusting. There was mould on the walls the place was infested with ants and the staff were not only rude and aggressive they were very sleazy. I felt very uncomfortable staying here as male staff wolf whistled and stared at me every time I left my room. This was very unnerving. When I say I you pay for what you get you don’t. The hotel is a scam. When you arrive an aggressive member of staff demands a 250 euro breakage deposit and says you aren’t getting in until this is paid. We returned from a night out around 2 am and went straight to sleep. The next morning around 9 am 2 male staff came to our room and demanded we leave as we were noisy. We couldn’t believe this as we went straight to sleep. They said they were keeping the deposit even though nothing was broken. We left and as we were leaving a local person who lives beside this place said people are put out of the hotel every day using the excuse of noise and deposits are retained. They said the hotel is a scam and that these people prey on young people who have little money. Be smart and safe stay away.

Booked in for a week. The size of apartment was big consisting of a table with 4 rickety old wooden chairs. One chair was falling apart! a small kitchen with portable electric hot plates, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, fridge plates cups knives and forks, a few cooking utensils, a frying pan, and a saucepan. the sink had taps that were painted over with cheap white water-based paint they also came out of the 70's. The water pipes ran accross the ouside of the wall as if a later addition. the bedroom had 2 single wooden framed beds. The floor was tiled with terracotta tiles that looked 20 years old, The aircon was above the beds and worked well enough to cool the aprtment. There is no seperate bedroom they put flat pack book case between the bedroom are and the rest of the apartment so the smell of cooking driffted into the bedroom area. I would clas this appartment as a large bedsit. The bathroom had been upgraded and was the best thing in the apartment.just the bathroom door was water damaged and had blck mould . We chose self-catering as we were traveling for a month and needed to budget accordingly. The kitchen was a huge let down the old Portable 2-plate electric hob was great for basic cooking bacon and eggs type meals. Then comes the toaster you cant plug it in if the kettle or microwave is on as it tripped the distribution box. In fact, the kettle tripped most of the plugs in the room. The walls were repainted again with a white water-based paint and done so slapdash that some of the floor tiles were covered with paint. The floor tiles some were cracked and patched. Having paid up front for a week we were stuck there and only used the place to sleep in. There is a bar upstairs and a deck above that a swimming pool with the odd lounger. The staff were friendly enough. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. We were not expecting the Ritz 5-star but a 3-star tourism-graded place that should be up to the minimum requirements of the 3-star basics. We had a look around town at other 3-star places and found them up to 3-star standards. We have travelled the world and stayed in dumps to 5 star Hotels and find this place far below accetable standards. We are in the travel bussiness and try to be as honest as possable when reviewing accomodation.

We booked a room for 4 from September 2 to 7. We were very well received, the staff were nice, polite and friendly. They took great care. The rooms were cleaned every day, and we had towels available. The hotel in general was clean and maintained. We stay at this hotel every year and we are sure to come back. The location is perfect. We do not understand negative reviews.

If you want a luxury hotel, don’t book this one!!! I wanted a cheap sunshine break after all the bad weather in the U.K. this summer and having come back from a luxury hotel in Majorca I checked this out. I’ll be honest, the rooms aren’t great but we came for sun so wasn’t in the room for a lot of the time so that was fine. We had 2 single beds and a Juliette balcony overlooking the Main Street, some would complain of noise, it didn’t bother us. Rooms were cleaned/beds made 2 out of the 3 days we were there. Added bonus was having kitchen area with a fridge/kettle etc. I’d read the bad reviews before we went and I was dubious, but I’d say if your after a cheap bit of sunshine and somewhere to sleep/shower this place is a good base - as long as you aren’t expecting luxury!!! The location is fantastic. We were a little worried about checking out after reading about the random reception opening hours, but sure enough there was someone there at 3am to take our key and refund the deposit we paid - **please be aware this is €200, which shocked us as we weren’t informed til we got there - we paid it as they wouldn’t budge, but it was back in my bank within 3 days** I would return if I could get a good price again, location is perfect and we met some lovely people round the roof pool. If your not fussy you’ll be fine here. Also all the lads we met on reception were lovely and super helpful x
