The location is a bit far from the hotel. You won’t sleep at night because of young/and not so young drunk Brits. The only good thing about the hotel is the staff. There is a sauna too, which was also good. The entrance is through another hotel.

The room is large in size, with a kitchen, clean and hygienic, rich breakfast, more hot milk would be better, the location is convenient, not far from the supermarket and the sea, and the service is very fast

This property is very dated and in need of general upgrades and maintenance . There is no front entrance to this property as access ito the fron door s through and underneath the property in the foreground . Front steps are granite , front desk counter top is made of painted worn out plywood . I am not kidding . You only get one chance to make a good first impression and this wasn't a good first impression

When me and my twin brother were staying in Albufeira we stayed in the Luna Hotel Da Oura on R.de Dunfermline.This hotel is only a short walk away from the main ***** were there are many pubs/bars and restaurants and a fifteen minute walk to Albufeira's old town. The hotel has a nice reception area and a superb outside swimming pool and there's an indoor pool.The room we had (336) was clean and spacious (a little dated) but very well presented.The bed's were brilliant and the rooms cleaned everyday.The breakfast was varied and filling and the staff were 1st rate. A superb hotel in a superb area of this very lively resort and on our next visit to here we will stay in this fantastic hotel again.(This is my first review of the Luna Hotel Da Oura).

This hotel is okay, close to the *****, with loads of restaurants nearby. The pool area is nice but the water is freezing! The younger members of staff were very nice, but the older ones on reception in particular were just incredibly rude, looking down on people who were just here to have a good time. When they could be bothered to glance up at us from being on their mobile phones they just looked at us like we were a hinderance. These people should not be working in hospitality.

Sitting in the closed front bar in the Luna Hotel Doura in Albufeira. This is never open. The pool 'shack' was closed today too. If you want a drink you have to leave the pool go downstairs and get one from thr awful Bakus bar that is like something out of 70's Ireland. But don't ask for a latte or a sangria as they're not on the menu. They don't heat milk for lattes. The young staff are lovely. The 'older' and female receptionists are rude, unhelpful and tar every guest with the same brush. This hotel could be amazing but between the staff, the unopened facilities and the dated decor it's not a patch on what it could be. We asked for late checkout and were told the hotel was booked out, which is blatantly and very clearly a lie. I asked about tenting towels and was told to use my own. I explained that mine would be packed in my suitcase and was begrudgingly told I could ask at the spa. Perpetually spilled liquids on the front steps to which I alerted reception once. They didn't do a thing. Not my problem if someone breaks their neck. Worst hotel I ever stayed, in which was a sad and expensive lesson.

La struttura è indubbiamente un po’ datata, ma il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo. Parcheggio riservato all’hotel spesso pieno, ma buona disponibilità di parcheggi gratuiti nei pressi della struttura. Il personale è sempre stato molto cortese. La camera che ci è stata data era molto grande e perfetta per le nostre esigenze. Buonissimo buffet sia per la cena che per la colazione. Insomma, assolutamente un’ottima base per visitare Albufeira e le sue splendide spiagge!

Rooms could have been cleaner. No tea, coffee, milk or water in the room which doesn’t cost much. Steam could also have been cleaner. Can’t believe we were charged for towels for the pool. Communal areas are tired. Staff were friendly enough.
