"I had the most amazing 7 days in Kasar, Almora—courtesy of Kasar Rainbow Yoga Retreat. The rooms are clean and cozy. During November–December, it can get really cold (3–4 degrees at night), but room heaters are available on demand to keep you warm. The atmosphere of the place is beyond amazing—you can feel the fresh air with every breath. The Sihvraj ji–Kamal ji combo will make sure you don’t miss home and that you’re taken care of really well—food and comfort are just like what one gets at home. They’ll even arrange a two-wheeler and transport if you decide to wander around. This place is just ~1 km from Kasar Devi Temple, so it makes it a perfect spot for spiritual seekers planning to visit Kasar Maa frequently during their time in Kasar. I visited 3–4 times during my 7-day stay and still miss it—it’s that good. Price-wise, this place is rightly positioned—not too expensive, which would make a hole in your pocket, but the right value for the facilities you get here. Lastly, the owner of the property, Mr. Sabu Mehra, is friendly—an amazing guy with such beautiful stories from his travel expeditions. He has put his heart into building this place, and it shows. "Worth the money. Rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures. Location is 2.5-3 km from the temple. I booked a family room which was quite big with 2 double beds and a balcony. Washroom was big as well. They have inhouse restaurant and the food of the restaurant was very good. Price might seem a bit high but the quality is good."
