"Stayed one night with family (wife + 9 yo boy) Room felt a bit small/cramped. They had a lift which moved slow. Heating within the room was good so while it was freezing outside we were comfortable in there. Stay came with breakfast which had an average spread. Cereals, bacon, bread, juices. Location is the best part here as it is right in the middle of Alta. Next to the shopping mall. Walking distance to the church. "My colleagues and I went to Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge for a two days writing session. The place was really quiet and cosy. The food was exellent; local and well prepared. For example, we were served a delicious meal of high quality reindeer meet accompanied by, among other things, wild growing lingonberries. The rooms were clean and the staff were superfriendly. I highly recomend a stay at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge."
