Al Abdali
To make a story short, the rooms are shabby and outdated and no renovation whatsoever was made since my last stay at this property more than 15 years ago ! My first issue : I was locked out of my room on claims that I smoked in a non smoking room which was completely false and I had to wait for their so called ” Duty manager ” Qusay who then said that I asked for a smoking room on my reservation which I might have and asked if I want to move to a smoking room which I didn't accept since I prefer to stay in a smoke free room eventhough i am a smoker ! Since their claim was false they had no choice but to hand me back my room key again otherwise they would have charged me 200jd for room spoilage ! My second issue that I was charged for 2 bills which I paid for in cash twice! Upon check in I was asked to leave a deposit of 50jd for the room minibar ! I went and got a coffee at the piano bar and signed the receipt and went up to room to get a call from the bar saying that I do not have any credit line and that I have to settle the bill in cash, and so I did! I called the reception and asked them to open a credit line which they pleasantly accepted! Later on that day the same situation happened at the pool bar where I signed the receipt and the same thing happened and I also settle the bill there and then! Again their so called duty manager Qusay insisted that they contacted the staff and the staff confirmed that I didn't pay ! He told me that he will release my deposit and will refund the money after checking the security cams! Upon check out this morning none of this happened and I to pay again for the bills I already paid for. To my luck, the server at the pool Taha confirmed my story upon check out this morning at the front desk but they couldn't do anything at 6.30 am since the accounting department isn't on duty Day light robbery at its best and unprofessional , rude so called duty managers !
