Amazing
CCallum TAn overall enjoyable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Amman, but there’s certainly room for improvement.
Pros:
- Rooms are enormous, and incredibly comfortable, with a good modern TV that allows streaming from your phone and a lovely rain shower. This really is the major highlight.
- Legend’s bar is very fun. Cocktails may be a bit lacklustre, but the massive screens, live music, and golf and racing simulators more than make it a great bar.
- The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, and definitely a great choice for dinner.
- Breakfast when available is very solid but not amazing (see the cons for more info).
- Hotel location is far from downtown, but next to all the other major hotels with good access to restaurants.
- Staff are courteous and helpful for the most part.
Cons:
- The breakfast restaurant is far too small for the size of the hotel. I had breakfast paid for, but missed it twice due to the restaurant being full. This really needs to be amended because the hotel itself was not even full. If you cannot attend the capacity of your hotel, this is a deep issue. Breakfast was solid, but still it was small compared to other 5 star establishments.
- New Year’s Eve was due to be the highlight of our stay, but we were left massively underwhelmed. We booked a table at Roberto’s, but despite being seated by 22:20, it took until 23:00 to get our appetisers, and we had not even had our main courses by the time the New Year came. This is unacceptable.
- A small but necessary point, in general the cleaning was fine, but one day we returned to the hotel at 16:40 to find we still had not had our room made up. We had to request this. I expect far more from a 5 star establishment, and the fact that I’m not sure we would have received a cleaning without our request is concerning.
Overall, I’m happy with my stay. I still think the Ritz-Carlton Amman is probably the best hotel choice in Amman, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My review and rating reflects how I feel based on competing hotels in the area.
GGuest UserThe staff were cheerful, the service was great, and the cleanliness was excellent. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The only minor inconvenience was having the sink in the room instead of the bathroom, which wasn't very comfortable or practical.

GGuest UserMr Mamdouh and Mr odai was very helpful and supportive. Literally when I go back to this hotel if because of those 2 persons.
Also all the stuff was nice.
Hotel was super calm and clean. Food is delicious.
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiMy stay at Crowne Plaza Amman in the Standard Room was wonderful. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly courteous and responsive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The hotel’s facilities, including the gym and pool, were well-maintained and offered a great way to unwind after a busy day. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide selection of fresh and delicious options. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay, and I would definitely stay here again during future visits to Amman.
GGuest UserOur stay at this hotel was beyond fantastic! The staff were warm and welcoming throughout, with special thanks to **Oulaia** for her exceptional service. She not only arranged an early check-in for us but also generously upgraded our room type and ensured our three rooms were on the same floor, making it incredibly convenient for our group.
The hotel boasts a prime location—within walking distance to numerous restaurants and supermarkets, perfect for dining and daily needs. The rooms are modern and well-equipped, featuring smart lighting and automated curtains for a touch of luxury. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious, offering great value for money. This hotel is an ideal choice for both short business trips and leisure stays.
Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

JJulia rebagliatoThe hotel was great, the rooms were very large and clean, the bed was most comfortable. The pool service could not be better, and the hotel food was great, the terrace bar was phenomenal, 100% recommended. I would go back with my eyes closed. On weekends they have pool parties during the day, both for children and adults, with a DJ included. And with a lot of security, so you feel at home.

WWorld Solo TravelerThe hotel is amazing , very clean everywhere , I disliked that they don’t have reserved areas for smokers everybody smokes anywhere they feel is a good spot for it , not thinking in people that we don’t smoke including little kids , it will be nice if they enforce smokers to smoke on designated areas and not inside restaurants and bars , I ate at 5 de mayo restaurant ( as a good Mexican lol ) not well convenced that I was going to find good Mexican food , I was wrong I gave my congratulations to the stuff and chef the food was amazing and so the drinks , I drank a Paloma a typical Mexican drink base with tequila , squirt ,grapefruit juice , lime juice over salty ring glass , Tequila used on my drinks was Don Julio , All stuff from valet parking to receptionists and in general were super friendly I definably recommend this hotel if you are visiting Amman Jordan or
MMaaiyushi_JadeBased on Ctrip's search results, I asked my colleagues to choose one. The local colleagues said that the location of this hotel was very good, so they chose this one. It turns out to be a great choice. Not only is the transportation location convenient and safe, but there are many shopping malls and restaurants around. The key is that the service in this hotel is superb. The staff are very polite and friendly to the guests. The room is also very spacious. They will greet you at breakfast and offer tea, and they will understand the customers' opinions and suggestions.
GGuest UserThe hotel itself is outdated and needs renovations. It's not that bad for a short stay. The only thing that really bothered me is the music sounds that kep pumping till morning from the next building club (disco). It was so bad that I had to call reception around 3:30AM. The reception manager was very apologetic and tried to help as much as he could, but it's not in his hand. He offered me a different room but it was already nearly 4AM and there was no point to move all my stuff to another room that will also be the same or slightly better.
Other than the noise it was not bad, but definitely not worth the price. In my long experience of rating hotels and apartments, I'd give this place a 5/10. I don't thing I'll book there again unless the noise issue is fixed.
MMR101Great stay with excellent service I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Amman and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The reception team were efficient at both check-in and check-out, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free.
The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, offering a great blend of modern amenities and a relaxing ambience. I particularly appreciated the quality of the bedding, which ensured a restful night's sleep. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job of maintaining the room throughout my stay.
Dining at the hotel was also a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of international and local dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurant staff were courteous and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The hotel's location is another strong point - convenient for both business and leisure travellers. In addition, the facilities, including the fitness centre and swimming pool, were well maintained and added to the overall positive experience.
Overall, the Mövenpick Hotel Amman is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city. With its exceptional service, comfortable accommodation and convenient location, it certainly lives up to the Mövenpick standard. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.
