Ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport ★★★
"The environment is just okay, but it's convenient for business trips with a shuttle bus. The hotel also has a restaurant and a small supermarket! However, there was no water in the room, and the facilities are a bit old."

"The hotel isn't too far from the station, about a 6-minute walk, but be aware that the road narrows if you're carrying luggage. There's a bus stop nearby (though it doesn't seem to go to the city center), and the metro and tram line 19 can take you downtown (convenient for the Van Gogh Museum). However, taking the train one stop to Amsterdam Centraal Station is easier (though it costs 3 Euros per trip). Overall, the hotel is quite good and clean, and the kitchen facilities are decent. We stayed for 7 nights during a heatwave, and thankfully, the room had central air conditioning (but the elevator doesn't). The check-in counter has a five-step design which is very inconvenient when dragging luggage. If you're in an inner room near the counter, it can be a bit noisy due to the metro!"

Orange Tulip Hotel ★
"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Orange Tulip Hotel. I stayed for three nights and only realised afterwards that I had developed multiple insect bites all over my body, including my legs, arms, and torso. These appeared after sleeping in the hotel bed and caused significant discomfort and distress, especially as I was travelling back home internationally. When I contacted the hotel, they initially stated that no issues were reported at checkout, despite the fact that symptoms became more obvious shortly after leaving. While they later agreed in writing to issue a full refund, I am now still chasing the money months later, despite providing my bank details promptly. This experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and deeply concerning. Beyond the physical discomfort, I had to take precautions at home to avoid potentially spreading insects, which no guest should ever have to worry about after a hotel stay. The lack of hygiene, followed by slow and frustrating handling of the refund, shows a serious failure in guest care and accountability. I would strongly advise future guests to think carefully before booking here."

easyHotel Amsterdam Arena Boulevard ★★
"I stayed here for two nights as I was attending the ENHYPEN concert. Location is super convenient for concert goers, its a <10 minute walk from Ziggo Dome (and also near John Cruyff Arena and right next to AFAS Live) and right next to Bijlmer Arena station and Albert Heijn. However when I was staying there, the lock of the safe box was broken, which means I had to carry all my valuables with me everytime I went out and to the concert. Amenities were also limited, for example, hair dryer is only available upon request and they may not always have it available."
