Sonne Andermatt Swiss Quality Hotel
"Very nice little hotel typical of the Swiss Alps. The rooms are nicely appointed. There is a small office space and a bench seat along the window. It's not very comfortable but when you put the pillows on it, it's great. The bathroom is spacious. Quite simple but good breakfast."
Andermatt Alpine Apartments
"The hotel is incredibly close to the train station. It's just a 500-meter walk after you exit the station and cross the road – definitely not as far as it looks on the map! The amenities are excellent, with high-quality furniture, appliances, and linen. It's equipped with a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and oven. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it very convenient to use. There's a children's play area nearby, and our kids absolutely loved it, having fun every day. Our entire family hopes to have the chance to stay here for a longer period next time."
The Base Andermatt
"The base is a newly refurbished complex offering very comfortable and modern apartments. We have been at the begenning of August veing a family of 4 and we enjoyed the spaces and the comfort of the apartment. Michele at the reception was a great help and always available for any needs!"
Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen Andermatt
"Clean, tidy and convenient"
Hotel Bergidyll - Riders Haven
"Originally wanted to experience the glacier train, but did not want to take the train for too long, so I chose to go from Zermatt to Andermatt, but the glacier train needs to book seats three months in advance, so we did not experience success! Andermatt is much quieter than Zermatt. If you don't ski, don't come over. ~ The signature burger in the hotel restaurant is delicious, like it!"
The Chedi Andermatt, Switzerland
"We are world travelers choosing mostly 5* classic and traditional hotels for our staying. We did not stay in the hotel but we were gladly welcomed three times during our short stay in Andermatt for a dinner in chalet and a next day for snacks and drinks at the lobby loungers and another night at the bar. At this point I wished to note that I wish to be fair and without prejudice for this huge effort , however I might help the honourable and caring manager of this hotel to feel better our impressions. The Chalet was cold but the Chef and the staff warmed us and serviced us pretty well. The central lobby , the cigar room area and the bar , in two different days showed serious signs of neglect and indifference. Despite the waiters mixed us with the residents , we didn’t for a minute felt welcomed. A slight snobbish and roofviewing disappointed me. I needed to call twice the bar to come clean the fully wasted tables in the cigar room where I received my malt whisky 20’ after I light my cigar. My wife was positively prepossessed since our New Year’s Eve at the group’s Gstaad Palace a couple years ago was amazing . There’s way ahead to reach this level of service and I felt I need to write this. Have a Great year ahead"
Boutique Hotel the River House
"We stayed a night at River House and had a perfect stay. Easy to find at the heart of Andermatt, with reserved parking a short distance away. First impressions were great, and those impressions continued throughout the stay. Welcomed by Kevin, on of the owners. Our room was really nicely appointed and homely. And immaculately clean. We loved it. We spent a pleasant couple of hours in the bar before dinner (we ate out but the hotel's food looked great) and again for a nightcap later. Slept well. Breakfast was just right and again everyone was welcoming and friendly. It is amazing to think that the hotel's main renovation was completed so long ago because it looks brand new - and that says a lot for the care and attention that is put in to running it. Thanks River House."
Gasthaus Skiklub
"Menu was misleading. Fondue was for/from 2 person but price on menu was for 1 person. My party has just paid approx £30 per head for an average fondue . I know Switzerland is expensive (as the waiter pointed out) but this wasn't an informed menu choice. :(😕"
Alpenhotel Schlüssel
"Functional, modern rooms, quality breakfast. Convenient location above the supermarket, close to restaurants, 6-7 min. on foot to lifts."
