"The hotel and service was good. Staff attentive when approached and can offer assistance when required. I had requested an early check in, however was not aware early check in could only be accommodated from 8am- I landed at 4am. Restaurants onsite are typical however not as grande as other pacific island resorts and restaurants. I ventured to local restaurants (easy to walk to and safe for a solo traveller) and was able to easily walk into town. Just a side note, I found I was unable to book tours via the hotel as I was a solo traveller and they require a minimum of 2 people per booking. I managed to find other ways to book and see Samoa however it wasn’t as easy as walking to the tour desk. Overall though I was happy with my stay!"

"Exceeded our expectations. We especially loved the long communal table that guests shared at breakfast and other times. It made it easy to connect with fellow travellers. Olivia's is a convenient walking distance to Palolo Deep and the city centre where we were fortunate to experience the Teuila Festival. Olivia's was very clean, the staff were always smiling and helpful, and our rooms were safe and secure."

"Just what we needed on somewhat of a budget. Service throughout the hotel was excellent from desk to cleaning team. Pool large enough for a swim and there us a toddler pool separate. Breakfast was included and was ok. The overnight oats / yoghurt is fabulous. Cooked eggs available daily too. We ate a couple of nights in the hotel and that food was delicious and good value. Tour company have an office right by too, very handy for car hire, taxi and trips (again great service there too) We loved our room, very big, huge comfortable bed and well serviced. The air con worked! Vital! Couple of snags dealt with quickly too (Thanks) Good luck with the safe! We gave up in the end. Overall, well positioned hotel in Apia (no beach) and would strongly recommend."

"Thank you to the staff for change my book due to my flight is changed for free. Almost, because they don’t answer here by trip.com and only after to call from other country I received the confirm for the change dates. The room: Only the sheets are clean. The rest were not clean. The bedside table is with the can imprint.. the rooms are on the parking so the noises is too high and wake up the guests every time one car get on. I hope the guardian is well and that his coughing and sneezing goes away quickly."

"I loved the hotel; it's meticulously maintained and clean down to the last detail, and the pool is fantastic. The hotel lobby is beautiful, decorated in a 1920s style, and is a lovely place to spend time reading or checking your phone. The location is perfect if you have a rental car; otherwise, you'll have to walk about 20 minutes or take a taxi to the city center, so I'm only giving this aspect a 3. The breakfast included with your stay is excellent and beautifully presented. I stayed in one of the cabins, and I loved the experience, but you should be aware that you might like it, as you won't have the same amenities as a room, and the bathroom and showers are shared (although very clean and comfortable). If you're unsure about this, or if you're traveling as a couple, choosing a room might be a better option than staying in a cabin. I should add that they helped me with booking the airport shuttle and the staff were very friendly at all times."

The hotel also boasts a popular Chinese restaurant in Samoa, offering a complimentary breakfast with a wide variety of options, better quality than nearby international chains, and more suited to Chinese tastes. Dinner is also highly recommended here, as only Chinese chefs can truly bring out the best in local seafood – delicious, generous portions, and great value.
