"We stayed at the hotel for 12 nights with a couple of friends. My wife and I had room 304 which is a very large room with a balcony - side sea view. The room is great and very comfortable. Has a mini fridge, safe, coffee maker with capsules and kettle etc. Very comfortable bed. The hotels location is perfect - a few meters in a side alley of the promenade. Many cafes, shops and restaurants 3 minutes walk away and so are the beautiful turtles. We rented a car and always found parking on the promenade even if we had to wait 5 minutes for a space. The breakfast is not large but you actually have all that you want/need including eggs made to order. The hotel has a spa which my wife used. The receptionists Georgia and Lilia are very kind and helpful and so is the entire staff. Recommended! If we ever return to beautiful Kefalonia we will no doubt stay here again."

"The hotel has a great location, not far from the beach, and plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a small supermarket to the right of the hotel entrance where you can buy yogurt and other similar items. Behind the hotel is a commercial street where you can shop, but the shop owners are quite casual, and some close very early. The room has a small balcony, not too big or too small. The only drawback is the poorly designed bathroom; the shower is too small, and the toilet paper isn't even next to the toilet! You can arrange airport or ferry pick-up through the hotel on Ctrip, but this will incur an additional fee."

"We were very disappointed with our recent 1 night stay at this hotel. We booked a classic room promising personal concierge service, early/late check in, and welcome treat. The initial receptionist ( lady with long dark hair) was lovely and helpful and promised our room would be ready for 1pm -- we had to wait until nearly 2pm for the room. We didnt receive a welcome treat (or was that meant to be the 'welcome drink' that we did get) and we saw no sign of our personal concierge. The room was comfortable enough - it was small though and the balcony was tiny (although it had a lovely view over the main town square). There was no hairdryer in the room -- we mentioned this to reception and the male receptionist was a bit offhand and advised we ahould have called him and he would have made a hairdryer available ---- well the cleaner should have checked that the room had the hairdryer in the allocated wardrobe drawer before declaring that the room was ready for us! We were disappointed that there was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room -- although to be fair the availability of these facilities was not included in the room description. The safety deposit box was completely out of reach on top of the built in wardrobe -- useless......I mentioned this to the male receptionist, who suggested we should 'climb' (presumably using the single cfhair in the room) to get access!). Not wonderful health and safety!!! There were 3 steps by the main entrance to the hotel - this made it difficult for anybody with large suitcases......there appeared to be no 'accessible' hotel entrance. Breakfast was just about acceptable -- usual half cold bacon, cocktail sausages and eggs in buffet style and continental choices (cold meats, cheese etc). Nice pastries and the coffee was remarkably good coming from a machine! All in all -- disappointing for the money we paid. This was our second visit to this hotel --- we probably would stay there again if only for its location in Argostoli."

"Well, we were the first guests of the season and we were treated like royalty. This is a small hotel with a small but excellent team. Located a 5 minute walk from the main square in Argostoli and just a minute from the bay front. The room was resplendent in marble and kept spotlessly clean by the cleaning team. Breakfast was courtesy of Eleni (see photo) the super friendly resident cook who was always happy to prepare eggs to our liking and created her own cakes as part of the breakfast selection. The front desk team were super helpful and organised a hire car for me that was delivered to the hotel at a very reasonable cost and also presented us with fresh beach towels for our beach days. The staff were always available and helpful as you would expect from Greek people. All in all, a super hotel that I would have no hesitation in recommending."

"This place was perfect in every way possible. From the beach towels, down to the soft slippers. Everything was amazing quality, including the bathroom amenities. Katerina & Spyros were available if you ever needed anything. Full kitchen amenities, and cold still & sparkling water waiting for you on arrival. Walking distance to restaurants, with a nice view of the sunset."

"The staff is very very friendly and is eager to assist. However, this an older hotel and is dated especially for the price . Very pricey. They charge for beach towels and the use of the safe in your room . I have stayed in hotels in many European countries and not encountered this before. After approximately 11 pm the reception is locked and there is no one to assist you if required. This hotel is located within walking distance to 2 beaches. The breakfast is average. Unfortunately I would not go back to this hotel the next time I am in Kefalonia"
