"When you make a negative comment about this property, they immediately seem to say: fake account:) We booked through ***********. Before they say that again: *********** only allows you to make a comment once you have stayed in the place that you booked. So you cannot just make a fake account and make a fake comment. (I am posting here the same comment that i posted on booking) So, lets go: you cannot call ¨Junior Suite¨ a room that is interior (in front of the elevator and stairs) and has metal bars outside the windows and has opaque windows. A junior suite means something. The owners should look up the dictionary to see what a junior suite means. And dont give me the answer that you have different rooms and i should check them all. What you are doing is false advertising: DO NOT CALL AN INTERIOR ROOM A JUNIOR SUITE. Do not try to trick your clients. For the price 180 euros that we paid, pls go to a hotel! They should also remove the word ¨Luxury¨that they have on booking as it has nothing to do with this establishment."

"Disappointing experience. I stayed at this hotel for two days and one night with my mother-in-law, my husband, and my sister. My impressions aren't specifically about the hotel, but rather the treatment we received. We had booked rooms with balconies and were given ones without, telling us upon arrival that they didn't have any available. We fled the city to escape the heat. As soon as we got to our room, my husband began to sweat. It was very hot. We politely asked if we could have a fan. The response was, "I'll try to ask my brother and let her know." Never heard back, they completely ignored me! When I got home, I realized I'd forgotten something in the room. I called them, and they told me they'd found it and would keep it for me. Instead of having it shipped, I decided to pick it up myself on a Sunday so I could spend a few hours on the lake. On the way, I called them and said I was on my way to pick it up. Unfortunately, it's gone! We'll let you know...never heard from them again! So, we reserved a room with a balcony, but they gave us one without one and didn't even apologize. They also ignored us, and the fan was set aside, mysteriously disappeared, and again, they didn't even apologize. I'm sorry, but that's definitely not how you treat your customers. We'll never come back!"

"Pizza with the family, yesterday evening, August 1st 2023. In the reservation call they informed us that on Tuesday 01.08 they only served pizza. Some of us had already been and so we left from Lavena Ponte Tresa overlooking Lake Lugano, to enjoy a pizza on Lake Maggiore. In fact the pizza is truly excellent. Too bad, however, that the bottle of white wine that they were supposed to serve us remained parked for 20 minutes on a service counter, while the waiters set up tables that no one was waiting for. After enjoying the pizza we asked a waiter for a take-away pizza (on an evening when only pizza was served) and we were told that we would have to wait 40 minutes. Since we were in no hurry we said we would wait. Immediately afterwards, however, the one who seemed to be the head waiter arrived and repeated that since there was only one pizza chef, the waiting time was 40 minutes, almost as if to make us give up, which we did. We weren't even asked if we wanted coffee or dessert, so since we felt like we weren't very welcome guests, we paid the bill and headed to Luino, and we had our take-away pizza at Tratory at 10:00 p.m., where they welcomed us with extreme helpfulness and kindness. What a shame, Hotel del sole, because your pizza is really good. M. C"

"You can stop right in front of the hotel and doe your smooth check-in. The parking place is a bit tricky to find but you'll have the most exotic prking place. The way back to the hotel is a five minutes walk down hill. The room it self was clean as well as the bath room. Not very spacious but enough. Be aware tha this hotel located between two main streets. We had a room with a sea-view. But at night the traffic can get noisy. I'm afraid that it is the same on the other side ( mountain view). The breakfast was good. A large variety of food, eggs , porridge, croisants, cheese, jam and so on. Everything was tasty. If you're looking for a fair bargain, a good location and an included parking place, you should choose this hotel."
