"A scandal. The pool was closed for four days because there was no lifeguard, who hid behind phantom technical problems. The apartment was for five... only four chairs. The air conditioning was only half-functional. I had my dog with me, and at the end of my stay they asked me for a sanitization fee (which is fair and expected), but the dog's bed, which was also included in the contract, was never provided. To get the cleaning done at the right times, you had to ask someone to help you; sometimes they'd make you leave the room at 2:00 PM to clean. I'll conclude by saying that this was my third year at Tancamanna and it will also be my last. Not recommended as long as the current management remains the same."

"Do not stay at this hotel its awful. Apart from the girl on reception all the staff were either rude or just miserable. I was struggling down a flight of steps with a suitcase only to watched by a member of staff who then walked off laughing. The hotel is like stepping back into the 70s it needs a massive make over. very tired and dated. Beds were very uncomfortable and hard. The bathroom is dark, tiny and smells like a Tom cat has been in there. The shower was useless. I asked for two single beds and the ground floor as I was with my elderly mother but given the 3rd floor with no lift and a double bed. Tried to change and told no rooms available. All they care about are the Sailors that stay there as there was a regatta going on for several months. The breakfast was ok, Quite a good choice but not always fresh. Coffee constantly cold even if you asked for it hot waiters just give you a vacant look. We chose half board but after eaten in the restaurant on the first night we ended up eating out for the rest of our stay as we found the food inedible we walked out of the restaurant the Maître d was rude and couldn't care less after we complained then chose to be quite rude for the rest of our stay. No one bothers to come around the pool and ask if you would like a drink and when they do you feel like you are doing them a favour. The only nice thing about this hotel was that is was clean and towels were changed daily. The pool area is quite nice as well."

"What a lovely hotel with really amazing staff from the waiters/waitresses/Receptionists/cleaners and the pool bar staff. Our room was cleaned daily. I could not fault this hotel at all. The swimming pool was not cleaned very much during our 2 week stay (in fact I don't know what the pool guy did all day apart from being on his phone and smoking - he was the boyfriend of Claudia). Claudia was so funny and such a bubbly person. On our last day my husband did approach the owner and mentioned the debris that was in the pool - give him his due he got the new pool guy to clean it (which he did) and it looked a lot better. We could not knock the hote at all - as to the actual resort - it is very pretty, not very big but unfortunately we were not a fan of the food that the restuarants served. They do not cater at all for vegi's and unless you like a lot of shell fish you are quite stuck. The resort is very pricey!!"

"My husband and I stayed here for 9 nights. Excellent location. Parking on site and a stone's throw from the beaches of the small and large Pevero. Courteous and friendly staff, special mention to the night guard who is always smiling and attentive. Unfortunately, however, the expense is not always worth the return. In fact, more could be done, such as renovating the bathroom, which, apart from the shower, is visibly dated. Furthermore, the breakfast should be improved: from a three-star hotel on the Costa Smeralda, you don't expect to see the same cakes (3) for a week or more without an indication of the type (it was clear they were one with chocolate, one with yogurt and another perhaps with almonds) served in slices (never a whole cake), all three on the same tray. The same thing for the biscuits you get, always the same for a week or more. Excellent fruit and croissants. In short, my advice: you have gold in your hands, don't let it slip away, but in fact, a little attention would be enough to enhance it and build customer loyalty. I don't think we'll easily return."

"The room cost almost 400€ a night, but there wasn't a sea view as such, just a tiny spot with a view. The room itself was very small! The shower and toilet are only a meter by a meter, with no partition. Is that so hard to do? When you shower, the entire toilet is submerged in water, the entire floor is submerged too. The staff is also very unfriendly, they don't even smile. The breakfast seems delicious, but it's unclear what you can order. The sausage is behind glass, and you have to ask for it to be sliced, the eggs are also behind glass, and you have to ask for them. We arrived and there was no one there at all, we didn't know if we could ask or what. They should at least put up signs saying the chef is coming soon and you have to ask him to make you some eggs and slice some sausage... Then the chef came and didn't say anything, silently, without a smile! We barely managed to get the eggs and sausage out of him! I don't think you should get such service for €400 a night, and the room leaves much to be desired. For that price, there's not even a cheap coffee machine in the room or decent shower gels. It's disappointing, a waste of money... If the staff at a hotel of this standard can barely manage a smile, they shouldn't be working there! It's like they're being forced; they should go straight to management if they don't want to be service staff."

"Hello, Our stay was very good. The staff was charming. The hotel is very well located, with an exceptional location, shops, bars, and restaurants just below the hotel, and the beach 50 meters away. The trees and plants are well-maintained, and the view from the terraces is superb. The only downside is the paid parking, and the pool is large, but the backsplashes are dirty, and the bedding is a little hard."
