"This is a family-run hotel. Looking at the map, I thought it wasn't far from the Old Cataract Hotel, but it's actually located on a hillside. There were many stray dogs in packs on the way, so we had to take a taxi every time we went in or out. Every room has a beautiful Nile view, and the view from the breakfast terrace is especially lovely. The scrambled eggs were delicious. However, the hotel has poor soundproofing; you can hear people coming and going. Also, after taking a shower, there was a sewage smell from the bathroom. I recommend bringing your own disposable bedding."

"The location was pretty good. The room didn't seem to be the type I booked. It was super spacious, and they prepared a room with one double and one single bed. The staff at check-in were friendly, and the Wi-Fi speed was decent. I didn't try the breakfast. There's a shopping mall connected right next door, and the Lavazza cafe on the first floor is open 24 hours, which was very useful. However, I left something behind at the hotel and contacted them. I asked about shipping it, but since I had already moved on to Luxor, they could only arrange a car delivery from Aswan to Luxor, which was a bit disappointing. It wasn't something expensive, so I decided not to pay for the car delivery and just gave up, but it was inconvenient for the rest of my trip since I'd left my electronic device charger. It would have been great if they could have shipped it to Cairo..."

"If you can't tolerate noise, definitely don't book this place. In Aswan, there's constant motorcycle noise late at night, especially late at night. We were staying on the fifth floor, which felt like sleeping on the street. Otherwise, there's not much to say. Hotels in Aswan are generally quite old, and this one was no exception—similar to a slightly better hotel in China from the 1970s or 80s. There were only two electrical outlets in the entire room."

"Hotel was located quite rural area with no proper road. Taxi will drop you off 100 meters before the entrance as they are unlikely to go down the slope. You have to carry your luggage through the stairs before going in. Upon checking in you notice there was no aircon on and lobby is quiet. I was told to pay additional cost as the online booking shows only 1 guest. Please check before you book or it will cost you quite abit. My room was located beside the lift anr it could get noisy as noisw insulation was not good. Would not recommend to stay here."

"We arrived at noon, Check-in was at 14:00, understandable...........We waited till 14:30 to get into our twin-bedroom (even though we booked a double bedroom as a married couple) , no idea why a room would take more than 2 hours to clean up, especially that once we got into our room the floor was completely dusty and we realized that the room service workers just do a casual floor sweep while they are wearing their shoes so it was completely pointless. The bathroom was empty, literally no toiletries, when we called the reception for slippers the gentleman on the phone said the hotel doesn't have or provide slippers, HOWEVER we asked the room service lady and she immediately got us 2 pairs of hotel slippers with the hotel logo, and a lot of bathroom toiletries. So we were confused why would the gentleman on the reception would lie and say the hotel doesn't provide slippers. We gave an extra tip to the room service workers to clean the floor again. The hotel is in a good spot, with nice breakfast and nice view over the Nile, a nice swimming pool. The ladies at the reception were polite and friendly, however, the service could definitely need some improvement. Oh, and we could barely sleep at night due to some really loud speakerphone sounds like rituals or religious ceremony all night."
