Hotel Don Diego by Ĥ
"The new brand is Don Diego By H. So the hotel has been COMPLETELY renovated and has nothing to do with the current photos. It is magnificent, new and modern. The establishment has been tastefully renovated. Very spacious room with balcony and view of the very quiet public garden. Very appreciated toiletries and the possibility of drinking tea or coffee in the room. It is also possible to put food in the fridge. Very generous and unlimited breakfast. We will return as soon as possible."
Vila Gale Isla Canela
"Having last visited this hotel in 2016 under the iberostar banner, we arrived like expected it to be updated, we got checked in. Felt like there was a lot of information to take in. The room which we picked was the budget one no complaints. The complaints I do have is the entertainment team. The music is on far too loud if you are listening to music with noise cancelling headphones in, especially when doing Zumba, the crowd is very close and still choose to use a microphone, they split our time and we moved back to the room. My wife has mobility issues, that day couldn't make it down the beach, the sunlounghers around the pool seemed to have towels on them, but nobody there, I watched someone rip the notice up that was left to say don't do it. In my eyes this is a manager's job to remove the stuff, another day I witnessed people reserving them ,then go straight to the beach, obviously when full you don't have enough sun loungers. Food ,the quality I must say the actual ingredients were good, but you could give a bit more choice and be more adventurous with your accomplishments, like sauces etc, on three consecutive sitting the same meat. A shout out to Mohammad who took pride in his work and to learn. Another thing was descriptions of the food into English were incorrect, one instance and I put this down to laziness, was a dish was offered in the al carte restaurant, so the interpretation could have been used, not many staff speak English, thankfully Google translate is a godsend, the staff are very friendly and do their best to understand, the English lady at the restaurant entrance is a credit to your hotel, friendly with everyone, always time for a little chat. So all in all a good stay"
Parador de Ayamonte
"The hotel was excellent with beautiful views in a calm area. The food was very delicious aspiring for a Michelin star. Everything worked out perfectly, and the staff did their very best."

"I liked the stay!"
Barceló Isla Canela
"The worst TUI hotel we have ever stayed in. The service was average, the tours were sold out or not available, the guest experience lady couldn’t even help hire a car, the tv didn’t work in the room, the room didn’t have a separate bathroom - a sliding door for a toilet and another for a shower, overall for a deluxe room there wasn’t anything great about it. A nice location with a beautiful beach across the road but that was about it. Not a lot around, we ended up hiring a car and travelling elsewhere along the coastline to Cádiz which was fab. With Portugal 35 mins away it’s great for travel to tavira which was beautiful Wouldn’t recommend this hotel/ resort for British people. I feel we were not made to feel welcome."
Melia Isla Canela
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was in a great location, was clean, modern and bright throughout. Room We ended up with a side sea view room which was brilliant (pictured). Room was clean and spacious. There is a fridge but it doesn't get very cold as it gets turned off when you remove your key from the electric. Location The location of the hotel is quiet and set away from the main areas but this suited us well as I am pregnant so we went on holiday to be by the pool and the beach! There were a few nearby shops and restaurants and a harbour which was nice to walk around. You can easily hire a car to travel around or go on excursions/trips nearby. Pool/beach There is an adults only pool area which was always quiet with plenty of sunbeds and nice and there are sunbeds on the beach (10€ a day) connected to the hotel. In the "main pool" there were activities and great spaces and pools for kids. It was nice to have the separate adult only space. Food I am gluten free and there was a good selection (pictured) of gluten free food at each meal. The meals all had signs saying what the food was and if it was GF or not. There were a few things I wasnt sure about so I avoided but I always ate well. The selection of food wasn't the most varied but it was still good. We went half board and drinks were reasonably priced. Entertainment There was some evening entertainment which was ok, we sometimes sat in the bar and over the weekend sat at the pool bar. This was open until 8pm mid-week, midnight weekends."
Playacanela
"All the staff are great and very helpfull. They speack French, English, German, Portuguese and others. Rooms are very clean, large and with air condition. Large lobby with reception, bar and relax area. One big pool with two tobogans for kids and one big jacuzi and many sun loungers. The hotel give you free towels for the pool. You also have the beach very near, and the water is hot with small waves. Animation team is 5 stars during all day in the pool and during the night with shows in the theater. Kids club - Delfi, is one of the best for kids with activity's during all day, breakfast with kids and thematic dinner's with the hotel maskot Delfi. Superb breakfast, internacional buffet for lunch and dinner with show cocking. The ALL INCLUSIVE is a great option that includes alcohol drinks. It is recommended for family's with kids."
Isla Canela Golf Hotel Boutique
"Went for a 6night golfing trip, hotel nice , room S are basic and the bed wast comfortable , but the food was poor . Adults only staying at the hotel and the cereal offered was coco pops. Evening meals was terrible,a set meal every night tasteless and bland. Do not eat here. ,"

"In less than 24 hours they stole all the money we had in the apartment and still treated the dog in the apartment badly, we made a complaint at the reception and a complaint at the police and we asked to stay in possession of the second key. The responsible people have not helped to solve the problem, nor have they assumed any responsibility. There is a huge security failure in this place, any official has access to the second key and so anyone can enter the apartment whenever it wants, even without any reason."
