"One with nature - Safari stay in Kanha National Park. Staying at Saccharum was a fantastic experience. It was my first time in Kanha National park and for someone who has been on 20+ safaris and not seen a tiger, My excitement level was super high. We stayed 2 nights and 3 days in Saccharum. I am big on eco-friendly and sustainable practices and Saccharum ticked all the boxes. I loved that they did not have a TV in the rooms, or allowed playing loud music on speakers in the property. There is barely any cellular connectivity and wifi is patchy. This allowed us to disconnect with the outside world and connect with Nature. I really enjoyed this forced digital detox, which was much needed. The special Thali of local dishes made by Chef Aksh using all locally sourced ingredients deserves a mention. Wasim took it upon himself to ensure I sighted tigers and had blocked 2 morning safaris for us. I finally had a fantastic 1st sighting of MB3, what a beauty she is. Saccharum will always be special coz of this for me. Service unmatched! Our 2nd safari was with Madhuri one of the first women drivers in Kahna, it was such a pleasure to go on a safari with her. There are many highlights of my stay in Saccharum but I am calling out my top 3: - The ambience and decor that’s blending in with nature - The walking safari with Wasim in the buffer zone and in the property, where we learnt so much about the Jungle, Sal trees, Sambrani and so many species of birds and animals and little secrets of the forest - The hospitality of Wasim and Ratna. They add so much to the experience by sharing their stories around the world and are excellent hosts. I would highly recommend a stay here."
