"Pros: First time visiting Lhasa, and the room facilities are brand new. The diffused oxygen system is a great touch, and the view is absolutely fantastic – you can gaze at the Potala Palace right from your bed. The parking lot is huge, and you can access Barkhor Street directly from the back door by just swiping your room key.
Areas for improvement: The WeChat contact for the butler service, which comes with the room key, was very slow to respond after I added them. It might be handled by the front desk, but if they want to promote a butler service, I’d suggest having dedicated staff for it."

"The hotel has a good environment. It is very close to the Jokhang Temple and the Potala Palace. It is only a short walk away. It is quiet at night and the breakfast is very good. It is my favorite hotel in Lhasa. The hotel service is very good, all check-in details are clearly explained, and if there are any changes, please contact us in advance. The facilities are a bit old but well maintained. The lights in the elevator are a bit dim and you can't see the buttons clearly. It is recommended to use a more powerful light."

The hotel is conveniently located just 9km from Lasa Railway Station and 46km from Lhasa Gonggar International Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Lhasa Mosque, Jokhang Temple - Pilgrimage Area and Polinka Garden all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service.
"When you step into the door of Fengma Feiyang, the rich and warm front desk environment and Sister Fang's enthusiasm make you feel very friendly. The room is very clean, the quilt really smells like the sun as seen in the reviews, and the floor heating at night is enough to make you feel comfortable. People with cold body feel relieved.
The B&B has a total of three floors. The ivy trees in the courtyard on the first floor are scattered around, giving a sense of tranquility accumulated over time. Although the peach and apple trees in winter are still waiting for their sprouts to sprout, sitting in the courtyard is like the feeling of my hometown in my memory, warm and cozy. harmonious. In addition to the tables, chairs and hammocks on each floor for you to enjoy the sunbathe in Lhasa, the rooftop observation deck offers a wide view of the Bu Palace, the snow-capped mountains, and Dolma, who is getting up and combing her hair next door, waving good morning to you.

Anonymous UserI absolutely love Farly Hotel. The staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, like spinning prayer wheels and performing sang offerings. I particularly recommend the evening sound bath experience and the morning Pilates. The instructor's stretching exercises really helped improve my posture. I also woke up early to watch the sunrise, but there's a mountain to the east of Farly, so the sun actually appears about 45 minutes after the official sunrise time. Still, it was a beautiful sight.

A very unique and beautiful hotel.
The rooms are spacious with 24-hour underfloor heating (the temperature is adjustable, so you can adjust it to your comfort). The bathroom is also spacious with a separate wet and dry area (though it doesn't have underfloor heating, which is a minor drawback).
The view from the rooms is the most beautiful part; you can take amazing photos just by sitting outside the room, far more beautiful than strolling through Barkhor Street.
The traditional kitchen on the first floor also greatly exceeded my expectations. The food was exquisite, and the service was top-notch; it would be a popular restaurant even in a first-tier coastal city.

AnxiaoyaaxyThis was the most pleasant stay I've ever had in Lhasa, and I have to give The Posh Hotel full marks! Its location in the heart of the old city is fantastic – it's quiet yet lively. Step out, and you're right in the bustling Barkhor Street, experiencing local life. All the main attractions are within walking distance, so there's no need to hassle with taxis, which is a huge convenience.
The hotel's exclusive observation deck is also a perfect spot for photos. The diffused oxygen supply in every room is a godsend for travelers coming to high altitudes; it's gentle and quiet. Coupled with the floor heating throughout the room, I experienced no chest tightness or altitude sickness upon arrival and slept soundly until morning.
The room amenities are on par with five-star hotels: zero-pressure mattresses, smart toilets, and meticulous cleaning. The service is an added bonus. Upon check-in, they thoughtfully provided Rhodiola tea and a complimentary sweet tremella soup for bedtime. There's also free self-service laundry with drying facilities. The front desk staff were warm and patient. From the environment, views, and amenities to the thoughtful service, everything was top-notch, offering far better value for money than other hotels at a similar price point. If you're coming to Lhasa, just book this place without hesitation. I even booked it again for my return trip.

The best service is when guests forget they are being “served.” With Robert, I witnessed the pinnacle of hotel service: not making guests feel deliberately “cared for,” but rather, through natural kindness, having every need met silently. His every initiative, every “Okay, I’ll arrange it for you right away,” conveyed the same message: Here, you don't have to be a “guest,” just be “yourself.” The Shangri-La Hotel shines because of employees like him, and the industry is warmed by professionals like him. The guesthouse was very clean and hygienic, and I loved the style. We came with friends, and they upgraded our room. Sitting on the terrace, looking up at Danjielin Temple was truly breathtaking. The courtyard was beautifully decorated with many plants. The housekeeping staff and the young men and women at the front desk were very friendly. Most importantly, it's only a three-to-five-minute walk to Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple, and there are many good restaurants nearby. I'll definitely come back next time.

”I spent 3 days in one of the shared dorms here, and it was easily one of the highlights of my time in Lhasa. The dorm rooms are incredibly clean, tidy, and well-organized, with sturdy bunks and enough space so you never feel cramped. The social energy in the main lobbyist is unmatched—it is so easy to grab a drink, strike up a conversation, and find travel buddies to split tour costs or explore the city with. They even had local singing and ******* dance performances right in the common area, so which was amazing to experience. To top it off, the hostel has a sweet resident cat who loves to hang out. Although ******* in style, the rooms and hotel design and decor still exude a luxurious and modern feel. There's a coffee shop, tea house, and laundry service across the street, making dining and tea breaks incredibly convenient. Laundry services are also super cheap for hotel guests. There's also a huge parking lot across the street, which will be a boon for those with parking anxiety. The service is truly outstanding; all the staff are incredibly welcoming. I originally planned to stay a few more nights, but unfortunately, I suffered from severe altitude sickness and had to leave Lhasa early.
