The hotel staff are all very enthusiastic and attentive, and they will proactively help with luggage, even offering Rhodiola. The stay was very comfortable, the bedding was cozy, and the room was clean and hygienic. The hotel also provides an indoor shuttle service, which can take you to attractions like the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, making transportation very convenient. It's also within walking distance to many places. Although it's not in the city center, transportation is still easy. The hotel courtyard is beautiful, with a ******* style, and you can even dress up in ******* clothing for beautiful photos. Breakfast is plentiful, with lots of fruits and vegetables, and they replenish the dishes very promptly.

A very unique and beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious with 24-hour underfloor heating (the temperature is adjustable, so you can adjust it to your comfort). The bathroom is also spacious with a separate wet and dry area (though it doesn't have underfloor heating, which is a minor drawback). The view from the rooms is the most beautiful part; you can take amazing photos just by sitting outside the room, far more beautiful than strolling through Barkhor Street. The traditional kitchen on the first floor also greatly exceeded my expectations. The food was exquisite, and the service was top-notch; it would be a popular restaurant even in a first-tier coastal city.

The room was clean and hygienic, located right on Lhasa's pedestrian street, with a night market just outside. It's situated between the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, both about a six to seven-minute walk away. Downstairs, there's a yak hotpot restaurant with the popular internet celebrity, Little Lamu, performing. They also have automatic robots that deliver takeout directly to your room. The hotel has a free parking lot on the -1 floor, which is very convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lhasa, it's reliable! [Strong][Strong][Strong]

I chose Phuntsok Kangsang Hotel based on a friend's recommendation. At an altitude of over 4,000 meters, I unexpectedly found a warmth that felt just like home. The staff were enthusiastic, attentive, patient, and considerate, doing their best to meet our reasonable requests. The meals offered a wide variety, and a breathtaking view unfolded right outside our window. The room was clean and comfortable, with a subtle, pleasant fragrance lingering in the air.

I really loved the hotel's courtyard; its architecture has a very exotic feel. Sitting in the courtyard in the afternoon, leisurely sipping a pot of sweet tea, was incredibly relaxing. It's a rare oasis of peace and quiet amidst the bustling streets, perfect for unwinding. The rooftop cafe offers views of the Potala Palace, and guests can go up for free to visit and take photos. The hotel is conveniently located near the entrance of Barkhor Street. It's just a few minutes' walk to Liukai Fruit Store after a taxi ride. It was very convenient to explore Barkhor Street on foot every day. The ******* noodles for breakfast were delicious, and there was plenty of fruit. Afternoon tea also included a complimentary pot of sweet tea. The room came with a nasal oxygen concentrator, which was a thoughtful touch. My only minor complaint, personally, was that the room felt a bit small and the soundproofing wasn't great. Because of this, I didn't spend much time in the room other than sleeping, preferring to relax in the courtyard. Finally, a big thank you to Ms. Zhaxi Lam for her thoughtful and heartwarming service.

The room has a warm color scheme, and the staff are very welcoming. I felt right at home. I especially loved the breakfast at this hotel. It's truly one of the best in Tibet. The breakfast is super rich, and the ingredients seem very fresh! I brought my children with me on this business trip, and they also loved this restaurant. It felt like a friendly place. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Lhasa.

This was my third stay at Thangka, and it has noticeably declined compared to my stays in 2018 and 2023. The main reason I chose it again was its proximity to Jokhang Temple. However, this time I experienced significant and continuous noise at night. The next morning, during breakfast, I realized the noise was coming from a machine in the 4th-floor restaurant or the self-service laundry area. I promptly checked out the next day and informed the front desk. The front desk attendant was very kind and assured me that she would report it immediately. I hope Thangka improves.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff were very efficient with check-in. It's very close to Potala Palace, making it super convenient for getting around. All the staff were warm and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy, and the night view was fantastic. Guys, you can book this place with your eyes closed – I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!

An old hotel with friendly service. The facilities are a little old, but it is clean and tidy. The price is not high. I stayed for three consecutive days and it is very cost-effective!
