You feel looked after in a way that’s increasingly rare. Food: The food alone is worth the trip. Despite dining at several Michelin-starred restaurants during our time in Croatia, the meals at Meneghetti were easily the best we had—beautifully executed, creative, and consistently memorable. Honestly, it’s crazy this place doesn’t already have a Michelin star. Winery: The on-site winery and wine tour were another major highlight. The wines are excellent, and the experience felt both educational and relaxed. It’s the perfect complement to the resort’s overall atmosphere. Beach Club: The beach club is very cool—stylish, peaceful, and a great place to unwind with a cocktail or a glass of their wine. It feels exclusive without being pretentious. Location: One important thing to note: the resort is very remote. That’s part of its charm, but it does come with a practical consideration—there are essentially no taxis in the area unless you’re willing to pay a crazy amount. Planning transfers in advance is a must. Overall, Meneghetti is a truly special place. If you’re looking for a luxurious, serene escape with exceptional food, world-class service, and a fantastic winery, this is it. We can’t wait to return."
