Hotels near Gragasyeh, Bali

We got the clue about Menzelejepun Villa by chance. However, it is a very nice ambience, you are living in the heart of centre near everything (Denpasar, Sanur beach etc.) and even though you are hidden in a beautiful calm oasis without noise. Owners Patrick and Dewy and all the hotel stuff are very nice, friendly people, always here for you. If you need something, don't hesitate to ask them. They will help you with everything. Stayment here was better than we expected. I only hope more people would get to know about this hidden paradise because it really deserves to be discovered. Nice place, the pool, the room, the facilities, all above my expectations, lots of restaurant near by, also a KFC ( Kentucky Fried Chicken) at less than 2 min walk around the corner, Bank and other shop .

I arrived at the hotel at 2 pm. I went to reception to check in, but I was told to wait. I waited for over an hour before the room was ready. The hotel is close to the airport. The room was okay.

My best friend of 20 years and I recently went on our first ever girls trip (we are now both 40) and booked our first 3 nights at Sun Island Hotel and Spa Legian. Upon arrival we were both delighted with the architecture and presentation of the hotel, both clean and modern, yet still authentically Bali and traditional. Check in was a breeze, and every staff member we encountered was not only friendly and helpful, but genuinely cheerful. It says a lot about a place when ALL the staff are that happy all the time! Particular mention goes to the Restaurant manager who welcomed us warmly by name every morning with the most beautiful smile and upmost of care. We stayed on the ground floor in a twin share room, which was spotlessly clean, with fantastic aircon. It had a small balcony big enough for one person to stand on to vape, and the absence of any cigarette smoke on the premises was a DELIGHT. The pool areas (there are 2) are truly spectacular! We stayed away from the rooftop as we are both sun sensitive and it is better suited to sun worshippers working on their tan. The 4th floor pool bar suited us perfectly, with plenty of shaded areas for relaxing on sun lounges. Yes, the decking is in need of maintenance, but from what I understand works are set to replace the decking starting June. I can't wait to return to see the upgrade. Although the pool bars were not permanently staffed throughout our stay, a quick call using the bar phone, had whatever we required delivered quickly to us with no issue at all. It was actually such a luxury to have that pool area to ourselves most of the time. The view from the 4th floor Infinity pool is pretty special, and I thoroughly enjoyed living my best mermaid life splashing about. Breakfast every morning was basic, but delicious, consisting of fresh cooked eggs to order, alongside a buffet of noodles, rice, fruit and pastries. Food service was consistently great every morning. At the end of our 3 night stay we were both so sad to leave as the location of the hotel is absolutey PERFECT. Close enough to be walking distance to all the action and nightlife, we felt completely safe at all times, yet far enough away to be silent of a night time when we needed to sleep (in super comfy beds mind you). After a hiccup at our next hotel within a couple of hours of arriving,that we both couldn't look past, we made the decision to check out and return to Sun Island. To our delight, not only were we welcomed back with literal open arms, we were offered the same rate we had been paying (was an early bird rate when we booked and this was now a weekend) but put straight back into our freshly cleaned original room. Above and beyond doesn't even come close to the service we received. A small issue with the aircon was attended to as soon as we made mention of it and the remainder of our stay just felt like home. We both can't WAIT to return to Sun Island Legian on our next Bali adventure!

This is my second stay in 2023 and it did not disappoint. I usually come with my husband and family but had a week solo and chose this hotel. Not only have we had wonderful holidays here in the past, being on my own, I liked the idea of security at the gate. I stayed in a pool view deluxe and although these rooms are a little dated, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Having a welcome platter of fruit was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The lovely staff are another reason we return again and again to this hotel. Lintang is a wonderful asset to this hotel and makes me feel like family. Wirik in the restaurant realised I was travelling alone and went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable and had a friendly smile and chat for me each morning. She does an excellent job and also makes me feel like family The pool is one of the best in Sanur. Perfect temperature and huge, so you never feel crowded and can move around freely. It would be good if there were more lounges though. Pool bar staff are lovely and efficient. The hotel is located a short distance from the beach and has numerous excellent restaurants out front. It’s an easy walk to night markets as well Lastly, the security guards were wonderful. Very diligent at their jobs and so friendly and helpful to me. The Swissbel is my go to hotel in Sanur. It’s such great value for money and its buffet breakfast is great. Try a themed dinner night as the food is sensational and great value being “all you can eat”! Thanks again Swissbel, we will be back!

I am visiting family in the area so needed to stay in a hotel nearby.on first impression the photos looked perfect. However,on arrival I was shown to a room on the ground floor which wasn’t clean, was dated and broken plastic around the shower area which I felt was unhygienic and a safety concern. The patio doors wouldn’t lock which as a solo traveller didn’t make me feel safe. I asked at reception to be moved. After a few minutes of discussion I was told I could move to a “new” room on the third floor overlooking the pool. First impression it was definitely an improvement but definitely not a “new” room. Paint peeling, laminate wood peeling, broken kettle, no fridge. A new kettle and an old fridge was then replaced. The bath and the basin were not clean with a ring of scum. The room was superficially cleaned daily by very friendly and willing cleaners. Bed linen and towels changed regularly. 2 bottles of water daily was a plus. Nowhere to put hand soap by the basin which meant crossing the room to get soap? The design of the room not thought through. Mirrors so high you could barely see unless on tip toe and I’m average height. Velvet chairs a hotel theme and not very practical for a tropical country. The safe deposit box didn’t work and despite asking it remained the same. The incessant piano music in the morning same reel which was eventually changed after I complained… the afternoon it changed to pop music but again the same reel… and no I did not want to be woken at 630 -7 every morning with piano music does anyone? Cockroaches in the room …. When I complained I was given a spray. Overall the hotel served its purpose of being close to my family. The staff were very friendly and kind which I really appreciated.

Dripz Coffee under the actual Eden Hotel provides great coffee plus meals, snacks etc. Friendly and helpful staff!! We have had many breakfasts at Eden Hotel - very nice and great value!! We had American breakfast, and there is also an option of a buffet breakfast. Thank you to many helpful staff including Juni, Ari Arum and Satria from Dripz Coffee.

I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). What a great post service! With this kind of service, I really recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Thank you Grand Sovereign, Matur Suksma Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL. 👍👍🙏🙏

The room is clean, spacious and well-equipped. The hotel is built on a mountain and is very quiet, suitable for a holiday. The driver Wayan arranged by the hotel is very nice, has great English, smooth communication, thoughtful service, and first-class driving skills. He took us to the East and West attractions of Bunida Island. He is both a driver and a tour guide, and he also helped us take pictures. When we stopped at the attractions, he waited for us patiently and took us to a seaside restaurant with a beautiful environment and chic and delicious food, where we enjoyed the food while listening to beautiful music. 2 days of East and West attractions, plus 2 hours of 3 snorkeling spots, saw manta rays, beautiful and colorful fish, beautiful corals and turtles, and the staff of the snorkeling company also helped us take pictures and videos. We were lucky to meet dolphins. We went directly to the hotel manager to arrange the 2-day tour itinerary. We are very satisfied with the 2-day itinerary arrangement. It's great! It's much better than finding a tour group. There is plenty of time to play, and Wayan's driver has a good service attitude. It is highly recommended to find the hotel manager to arrange the tour itinerary. It takes 2 days to visit the east and west lines of Bunida Island, plus snorkeling.
