The owner of the house is an artist who lived in China for 9 years, and the interior is filled with many Chinese elements. The host was very considerate and enthusiastically introduced the attractions, restaurants and transportation routes of A**ong, and also prepared lemonade. The hotel is in a great location, just inside the city wall, only a 15-minute walk from the centre train station, and all attractions are within walking distance

The environment is excellent, needless to say, and there's even a swimming pool. Sometimes in the evenings, the front desk lounge offers bread and drinks, which are incredibly delicious! The location is also very convenient, especially if you're driving!

Anonymous UserDespite being advertised as a hotel where Napoleon stayed, I personally don't really like hotels built in old buildings, as the furniture and bathroom facilities were rather dated. The breakfast, in particular, was quite mediocre, with very few options, and the staff's English was also limited, making for a less than pleasant experience.
The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of the old town, making it conveniently situated near historical sites and landmarks.

Hotel was nice and clean. It seemed to be renovated, compared to some other Mercure hotels which always seemed a bit older. Rooms were quite compact, it was OK for one night. They have a nice restaurant though with terasse with nice lunch deals and a swimming pool for those who are here for holidays. Not best location though if you want to visit the city center but with a car it's fine. They have also a big space for parking car for free

The hotel is in excellent location, right next to the train station and it takes only a few minute walk to the downtime . The room is a bit small and basic but it can serve all you need in traveling. Perhaps the only problem is that it doesn’t provide kettles and so you need to obtain hot water at the hotel lobby, if you like to make a cup of tea for yourself. The facility is a bit old and the door lock is broken. Other than that, overall the facilities are in order.

lily62It's not bad, the room is big, but the elevator is small and old, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, it's my first time staying in this kind of hotel, a monastery with hundreds of years of history, the breakfast is okay, French hotels are basically like this, unlike domestic hotels with a variety of options. In addition, when booking the room, it didn't say it was a top floor attic. After checking in, we found it was a attic with a small window and a skylight. The room was a bit stuffy when the sun came out. There was no air conditioning, only a fan. When we asked to change rooms, the front desk said they were full. Fortunately, it rained later and it was cloudy the next day. Fortunately, the weather was not hot, with a maximum temperature of 24 degrees.

Service: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are very clean. You can see that they are cleaned regularly. Thumbs up! There is a simple breakfast in the morning, bread and hot coffee, which is simple to fill your stomach.
Environment: Very convenient in the city center
Hygiene: Very good, but there is no trash can in the room, which is inconvenient. I made a trash bag myself
Facilities: The elevator was broken, which was uncomfortable, but everything else was good. The only drawback is that the elevator was broken. I had to carry my 29-inch oversized luggage up two floors to get to my room. If you need an elevator, this is not recommended. Everything else is perfect!

Hotel is OK for one night stay. The room is a little small. There is a small swimming pool. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel connecting to the city of Avignon. The price is a bit high, but this is the Avignon Festival time so I can understand.
