Amazing
GGuest UserWaldorf set the tone for the entire luxury hotel in Osaka, it deserves the highest praise. From the moment you step out of the car upon entering the hotel, the emotional experience is flawless. Upon reaching the reception area, the hot towels and tea are a first thing you'll find that sets it apart from other luxury hotels. This attention to detail is so thoughtful; it shows how much they understand that after transportation, travelers can perform a handwashing ritual, representing not only physical cleanliness but also a reminder of mental well-being. It's fantastic. The only suggestion I could make is that having someone sit down during check-in would be better than standing at the reception desk. Other staff members who left a deep impression included Yui and another girl who showed us to our room (I don't remember her name, but I do remember she taught me that Yui's name is Y and I; she was all smiles, in high spirits, and explained the hotel facilities very well, greatly reducing any sense of unfamiliarity as a new guest). Since we returned to the hotel quite late that night, we mainly went to the bar near the back entrance for drinks. The bartenders were very attentive, and the welcome drink was delicious. When leaving the hotel, the staff throughout the journey were attentive. Because our next destination was relatively close to the hotel, the staff at the entrance (I forgot his name, but I remember he was short and had braces; his performance that day was perfect) arranged for a hotel car to escort us there. The driver was Italian, very professional, and had an excellent attitude. Words of gratitude are insufficient to praise this outstanding driver. If a hotel's maximum score is 5, I would give it a 6. It truly embodies the image of a luxury hotel and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I will definitely return on my next trip. I am grateful for everyone's efforts throughout the journey.

VVinijiangThe environment: The view from the hotel room was absolutely stunning! I stayed for three days and two nights, and both the mornings and sunsets were incredibly beautiful. The rest of the time, I was out exploring and eating!
Hygiene: The room was spacious and clean. I booked a triple room, and it was perfectly fine for three people.
Location: Excellent location, within a 15-minute walk to Yodobashi Camera, right next to Lucca, and Daimaru department store. There are also many great restaurants along the way.
Service: The beautiful ladies and handsome gentlemen at the front desk were all very enthusiastic! Even with my poor Japanese, I had a pleasant conversation with them!
Thank you very much, I'd love to visit again! ^_^

JJake ECVery easy and personal check in, lovely modern hotel. As far from traditional as it's possible to get but when you're going to universal studios and particularly if you've been used to small japanese hotel rooms and or beds in other cities, it's a welcome refreshment (noting we stayed in the king size room). We didn't take kids and it's clearly a family hotel - adults only were packed off to a separate part of the breakfast area. The breakfast was varied and whilst not my favourite offered a decent enough selection and takeaway coffee if you would like it. It served both japanese and (the local attempt at - as everywhere in Japan) western breakfast. Laundry facilities are the best we've seen so far - circa 12 machines (half wash half dry) but no changer for yen which is a pain (if you eat in universal city, change money at the arcade if you're willing to play a little there). Amazing location for universal studio (which is the only reason you'd be there) and we had lovely views of Nintendo World and Harry Potter from our room. Five minutes walk to the gate. Best thing they do compared to other options is start breakfast at 6am knowing many want to rush to the gate before 715am. Only the standard amenities but a nice moisturiser and the toilet was one of my top 3 (it's Japan, toilet ranking is a real thing) - they spare no expense in the room (although perhaps in the slightly plastic minion wallpapering elsewhere). Would stay again for universal but not for anything else - universal city train station is a bit gnarly as its a spoke off the main osaka loop - should be every 15 mins but out of service or cancelled train and you're stuck waiting 30 minutes. We got back from Dotonbori in 33 minutes so it can be done if you time it right.
DDangdaiaganI stayed here twice within a week, not just because of my itinerary, but mainly because of the hotel's incredibly convenient location. In Japan, major transportation hubs are often also commercial and business centers. This hotel is right above JR Osaka Station and the Shinkansen station, and Hankyu Osaka Station isn't far either. Below the hotel, you'll find Daimaru department store, and familiar stores for Chinese visitors like Muji, Uniqlo, and Yodobashi are also nearby. The hotel occupies floors 19 and above of the Daimaru department store. There are a lot of rooms, and the hallways are deep and long. However, the room size can only be described as cramped. On my first stay, the two beds were pushed right together. The second room was slightly wider, with just a narrow gap between the beds, and the TV on the desk was at most 16 inches. In terms of room rate alone, it's not great value for money, but when you're traveling, convenience is very important, so I'd still highly recommend this hotel. Oh, and the bus stop for the direct shuttle to Osaka Kansai Airport (KIX) at Umeda is also right downstairs.

AAishuijuedeCCCThe hot spring pool is a bit small, but it's natural and has a massage jet, so you can soak late into the night. It's really relaxing and helps you sleep well afterwards. Breakfast is just average, but it's enough. The bedroom is quite large, especially compared to other hotels in Japan, which is a plus.

ZZacku24For the price point per night per pax, you would expect the onsen to be included in the amenities, but it is actually chargeable. Pretty absurb in my opinion. The hotel has a pretty space, but is just too far off from the main area in Osaka. Pretty nearby to the Tennoji Zoo and Shinseikai area. Being a 5 star hotel, you would expect the staff to at least have alil english language proficiency, but that is not the case.

GGuest UserThe room was spotless and smelled fresh. I was initially worried if I'd have space to open my suitcase, but it was perfectly fine. The hotel is super close to two different subway stations and also to Shinsaibashi. Plus, there are tons of great restaurants nearby!

GGuest UserThe location is incredibly convenient. Fukushima Station is right outside the hotel, and Umeda is just one stop away, making it incredibly handy. There's a convenience store downstairs, a yakitori place right across the street, and even a delicious revolving sushi restaurant on the hotel's first basement floor – all excellent dining options! A pretty famous Oden restaurant (about a 7-8 minute walk away) is also worth checking out! Our family of four had a great rest with the four beds provided. Plus, it's not far from Universal Studios either.

RRewoderennimendou…Very satisfied! The sun shining through the window was so warm. There's a supermarket downstairs with a good selection of items, and a 7-Eleven nearby which is really convenient. It's also pretty close to the subway. I'll definitely come back next time!

33001152460I was a bit worried after reading some reviews, but I decided to book it anyway because of the location, and I'm so glad I did! The rooms are big and clean, and housekeeping is very quick and efficient. The location is fantastic, right opposite Daimaru. Once you get your bearings, you can get to Hankyu via the underground passage really quickly without having to go above ground at all, which is also great for places like LUCUA and GRAND FRONT. A taxi to the Glico Man sign in Shinsaibashi and the Kani Doraku main branch only cost 2400 JPY. The only minor issue was that I booked two rooms and specifically requested no corner rooms, but we ended up with one at each end of the hallway. Luckily, the elevator to the first room requires a turn, so we weren't disturbed by any noise at night. The breakfast isn't super extensive, but it has all the essentials, so overall I'm very satisfied.
