My first time staying in a capsule hotel, and honestly, I was more impressed than I expected!
📍 Location: Amazing! It’s very close to Dotonbori—just a few minutes’ walk to food, shopping, and nightlife. Also near train stations, so getting around is super convenient.
🛏 Capsule Room: I thought it would be very small, but it’s actually more spacious than expected. I could stretch out comfortably. There’s decent privacy with a curtain, plus a power outlet and personal light.
🧼 Cleanliness: Highly rated! The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Amenities are provided, including towels and a hair dryer.
👩💼 Staff: Friendly, helpful, and able to communicate in English, which makes everything much easier.
👍 Pros:
- Great value for money, perfect for budget travelers
- Excellent central location
- Secure system with lockers for your belongings
⚠️ Cons:
- If you get an upper capsule, climbing up and down can be a bit inconvenient (though it’s slightly cheaper than the lower one)
- Some noise is unavoidable since it’s a shared space
- It can feel a bit warm or stuffy at times
💬 Overall: Perfect for solo travelers or anyone who wants to try the capsule hotel experience in Japan. If you don’t mind limited personal space, it’s definitely worth it!

DDarinDarwishThis was not my first hostel experience, and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed.
Let’s start with the positive aspects first:
The location was absolutely perfect — I don’t think you could find a better place to stay in Namba. Everything was close by, and getting around was very easy.
Also, the staff were extremely, extremely friendly, and we received fresh towels every day, which I really appreciated.
Now, onto the things that bothered me:
First, the cleanliness: It wasn’t really clean. In the showers, there was always a lot of hair and dirt in the gaps where you enter and exit, which was quite unpleasant.
During my stay, someone vomited in the public sink area, and it was not cleaned up overnight — it was still there even at 10 a.m. the next morning. Because of that, the house smelled strongly of vomit for a while.
That night, and in general, there was often an unpleasant smell in the kitchen area as well.
Without wanting to discriminate, I noticed that many older people were staying at the hostel (since apparently there was no age restriction). Some of them would loudly clear their throats and spit phlegm into the sinks, even early in the morning, which was quite disturbing and unhygienic.
Another issue was the temperature: The room was extremely hot at night, and since so many people were sleeping in one room, the air became very stuffy. Even inside your capsule, it was uncomfortably warm.
One last point: On the day of arrival, the address on Trip.com was wrong, which made it very hard to find the hostel. It took me almost an hour and a half to find it, especially because it was very hidden with no clear signage outside.
I really hope that in the future, there will also be an age limit for guests.

Eericachan18The location is quiet and close to two train stations, making it convenient for getting around. The staff are very responsible and respond quickly, even late at night. When we had a problem with the water heater in the early morning, they sent someone to fix it the next morning. The staff member in charge even spoke Chinese, which was very thoughtful and dedicated. There's a small balcony, which is great for drying clothes. If you like trains, you can also watch them pass by at the nearby station from the balcony.
Downsides: The location is a bit too secluded. In winter, it gets dark very early, and there are very few dim streetlights in the residential area. There are almost no pedestrians, so as a solo female traveler, I felt a bit scared and had to return to the guesthouse early. There are no restaurants downstairs; you have to walk to find them. The water heater was troublesome; it's a storage type, so you constantly have to check if the water level is low and manually boil water, otherwise, you won't have hot water for a shower (I discovered this when the temperature was around 1-2 degrees Celsius, but once the temperature rose, the water heater didn't take as long to heat up).

Kkiang49The locationn is very close to shopping areas such as Namba, Shinsaibashi, and Kuromon Market. There's also a large, inexpensive supermarket nearby, located behind the building. The accommodation is clean, towels, liquid soap, and shampoo are provided. The bed is a good size, not too narrow. My room was on the second floor and had limited space for luggage. There's a corner outside the room with tea and coffee service and a refrigerator, but it's quite cramped. You can buy food and heat it up there. Because the accommodation doesn't have much common space, you need to be mindful of noise levels.

GGuest UserThe hotel is literally beside a train station which is really convenient to go to airport. And there’s a family mart just 2 mins away as well. But the thing is the room really small and very small walkway for you to walk. And the sound proofing is so weak that you’ll able to hear the loud snoring from the room next to you if so happened there’s one. And I would really not recommend to those who not used to shared bathroom as it’s quite inconvenient and for female bathroom is at ground floor and need to pass by the hotel entrance and public area which is dining area that there’s bunch of people being there for using laptop and eating almost the whole day.
First time trying this kind of hotel and guess it’s not my type but it’s good for experience.

Hotel was super clean, tidy but the shower room and toilet was outside the room, located at the ground level, but itsokay, everything was fine ! The hotel also near to some attraction places, and still at a resonae price compared to others, Recommended!💯

GGuest UserEverything felt great! There were a lot of international travelers around, I assume. I stumbled into a street full of Izakayas while looking for a place to eat – it was quite novel. I might not have adapted well to that street in an unfamiliar environment, but overall, it was excellent! It's very close to Dobutsuen-mae Station, the room was clean, and there was enough space for luggage. Just a heads up, there's no comb, so remember to bring your own.

MmitareThe location seemed great at first, but it's actually not that close to the subway station. The surrounding area is full of food streets, and there isn't a convenient store nearby either. Perhaps because there are too many people staying here, it gets quite noisy in the mornings. I haven't encountered this situation in other capsule hotels.

XXxyyfFourth time staying here, and this time I came during cherry blossom season. The price was great, and the hospitality was as warm as ever. I pretty much stay here every time I'm in Osaka. The only thing is there aren't many single rooms available, but the soundproofing is decent.
