We had a very lovely time at Casa de Lipe. We even got engaged here so we will certainly be coming back. Pros: The staff are the loveliest people on Planet Earth No loud music at any time, very quiet Sensational food and service, very smiley staff ready to help with anything Private beach is a real bonus The setting is fabulous. Among the rainforest and with the sound of the sea rocking you to sleep Epic sunsets Great breakfasts Cons (being really picky): The air con unit in our room was a bit loud The pool in our room (honeymoon villa) was a little bit smaller than I expected The decor could be updated We’ll be coming back here time and time again for sure. The scenery here is absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to see blue tears at night by the beach, which was such a magical experience. In the morning, you can also catch a stunning sunrise right from the resort — truly peaceful and breathtaking. The service was excellent — all the staff were friendly and always smiling, which made us feel very welcomed. The room was spacious and very clean, and the shower had strong water pressure, which we really appreciated. The resort is located on a cliff, so there are quite a number of stairs to climb. However, the staff will help carry your luggage all the way to your room, which made the arrival much easier. However, since the room is designed as a wooden bungalow, it gets very hot during midday. Even with the air conditioning on, the cool air doesn’t reach the bed area effectively, so the bed still feels warm. Turning on the fan actually makes it worse, as it blows the heat from the roof downwards, making the room feel even hotter. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great service and stunning views, but the room temperature during the day could definitely be improved.

Bulow Casa was an absolute gem and one of the best stays we have ever had. The beach was stunning — pristine, peaceful, and just steps away. It’s the kind of beach you never want to leave. The atmosphere of the hotel itself was wonderful. The surroundings are beautifully maintained and create a truly relaxing environment that makes you feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive. The food at the hotel was delicious and well-prepared, with a great variety that satisfied every craving. Dining here was genuinely a pleasure. The staff deserve a special mention — they were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Their warmth made a real difference to our experience. One standout feature that truly impressed us was the complimentary shuttle service around Koh Lipe. Being able to explore the island freely without any extra cost was a fantastic touch that showed how much the hotel cares about its guests’ experience. We would recommend Bulow Casa to anyone visiting Koh Lipe without hesitation. We will absolutely be back.

This hotel is just 200 meters from Pattaya Beach Pier, a bit quieter than The Ananya. Walking Street is also very close if you walk along the beach. The breakfast was decent, and the Thai milk tea was delicious. The service was good too; they helped us with our luggage and took us to the boat, which seems to be standard for island hotels – something Koh Lipe does better than Koh Samet. We went during the low season, so the prices were cheaper, and there were fewer people. The pool was practically empty. You have to pay to use the hotel's kayaks, whereas the one at The Plantation was free for two days, though the kayaks there weren't as good as Akira's. The room was large and quiet, and the 2-meter bed was very comfortable. I recommend this place.

Was a bit far from the main area, and the hotel provided only one shuttle per day. We actually booked a room with a different design and got a completely different room. When we asked to see the other rooms, they showed us rooms with the same design as the first, instead of just saying they renovated the room. We didn’t get any compensation for this inconvenience. Some of the buildings needed renovations. The whole floor around our room was super dirty and disgusting. A lot of stairs in the hotel if you want to go down to the beach and restaurant area. Also was pretty expensive and was not worth the price in my opinion. Pros - very nice breakfast. Gorgeous beach area. Nice staff. Clean room.

This hotel was a lovely surprise for me and my fiancee, with a beautiful rustic charm that really adds to the experience. The pool is fantastic, and the beach is literally just steps away. It’s also within walking distance to Walking Street, with convenient taxi services available right outside the hotel. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, which was a nice bonus. While this isn’t a typical 4 or 5-star resort, what you do get feels 5-star, the stunning beach, the beachfront bar, the pool, and the very comfortable bed and pillows all stood out. My only minor issue was with the shower, as the hot water was a bit inconsistent. Aside from that, I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t pay too much attention to the negative reviews. Koh Lipe is a small paradise island far from the mainland, and this hotel is a wonderful place to enjoy it.

I really enjoyed our stay jt was low season so nice and quiet but still a good atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable, we booked two but could have managed with one room with a 9 and 12 year old. Everything worked , the internet was decent. Gardens and greenery lovely spot. Breakfast was fairly standard for this type of accommodation. Nice fresh fruit eggs, bacon, pancakes , waffles and Asian options, eaten with a nice view of the sea. Location at end of beach but close to walking street. We tended to walk to North point and get a taxi scooter back for 50b. Food on island was good. Coffee from tugboat needs a mention. Island overall is beautiful and has a really nice vibe at present hopefully it doesn't get over developed. North point is a lovely area which still has it's natural beauty.

Pros: 1. **Location:** It's not right by the bustling pedestrian street, so it's relatively quiet, yet only a 5-10 minute walk away. 2. It's a detached, single-story villa with a private terrace. 3. The room has a minimalist design, and there's plenty of hot water for showers. 4. The beach is just a few steps from the room. 5. There are exclusive beach chairs available on the beach. 6. The breakfast is substantial, mainly Western-style. 7. They offer shuttle services. Cons: 1. The room is a bit run-down; many facilities are old or loose. 2. The island in general is a bit noisy and too crowded. 3. At over 1000 RMB per night during peak season, it's not great value for money. 4. The immigration and departure points on the island for boarding/disembarking boats are quite chaotic. You have to pay the island fee upfront. Be aware that the ATM next to immigration charges half the withdrawal amount in fees – a definite rip-off. 5. The staff on the Thai transfer boat were rude and crammed everyone onto one vessel.

It has been out favorite hotel on the island. It is still very good. Great location (quiet), sea line with very beautiful area, some shade during the sunny day. Very good breakfast and ability to put additionally beds in the room. However, when we were there 5 years ago last time, the service was better. Just an example: there are pits with water next to each villa to clean the feet from the send. If you are a customer you get used to that pretty quickly because it is great that you don't bring the sand to your room and bed, then you actually need it. 5 years ago every time we woke up the pot already was full with water. This time it could stay out of water for the whole day and the half of the next day. Some people were pouring in drinking water there to make it possible cleaning the sand off. There are few other small things that degraded sadly. However, it is till one of the best on the island.

The hotel was chosen based on its relatively low price and location. The hotel has seen a lot in its time: a padlock on the front door, cracks in the floor, sockets that are extremely loose, unobtrusive service. However, enough of the negative. Quite good breakfasts, proximity to the sea, good attitude of the staff level out the negative. Try it!
