Review from a non-chinese tourist. Pros: location, low to almost none level of noise, cleanliness. Cons: no one can assist you in english, breakfast (if you’re not chinese or adapted to local food). It’s right next to Beijing West Railway station, so multiple malls, shops, cafes etc available. When I was checking in I was given key to a wrong room - someone else was already staying there. I understand mistakes happen but after 20 hrs of travel it’s hard. The biggest dissapointment was the breakfast: it said that it’s buffet with chinese and western food. In reality almost no food that you would normally eat for breakfast, lots of chinese food (I wouldn’t have problem with it if it wasn’t so greasy - it’s just not the best for starting your day). Overall - good for the price and location.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was very efficient. Our room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding, and great soundproofing. The facilities were comprehensive, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The overall environment was quiet and elegant, and the staff were very responsive. We had a really comfortable stay. It offers great value for money, perfect for both business travel and short getaways. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip – highly recommended!

Hotel was clean, front desk staff was pleasant and polite. The laundry room was clean and had everything needed to wash/dry clothes and even an option to ask staff to help you take out the clothes from the machine once it’s done. The location is ideal for those who might need to catch a train or want easy access to the metro station. However, for me, I found that other than for that specific reason, the location wasn’t the best - it’s somewhat surrounded by construction so it can get a bit dusty (which is not ideal if you have allergies) and also a bit noisy. I booked a room with a tub but it seemed like the tub hadn’t been scrubbed in a while - I had to do that myself and order a tub plastic cover on ******* before having a bath.

The overall stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel is very conveniently located near the station and subway, saving time and hassle for getting around. The room was clean, odor-free, well-lit, and airy, and the bedding was very comfortable to sleep on. Luna provided professional and attentive service, making check-in and check-out efficient, and patiently answering any questions. The environment is quiet, and the facilities are comprehensive, making it suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. Five-star recommendation! ⭐

The location is fantastic! It's an easy walk to Niujie, which was perfect for trying all sorts of snacks. Getting to major attractions by bus or taxi was also very convenient. The hotel's 24-hour security was excellent and made us feel incredibly safe. The bedding was comfortable, though the shower stall was a bit small.

Although Beijing XinYuan Hotel is not a newly built property, it is well-maintained and continues to meet the standards of an official 5-star hotel. The hotel offers a comprehensive range of facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness centre, a complimentary self-service laundry room and several restaurants, making it suitable for both leisure and family travellers. The hotel is not located within the main tourist district and most major attractions are some distance away. However, this is not a significant inconvenience because the nearest metro station is within walking distance. Travelling by metro is straightforward and convenient while taxi or ride hailing services can usually reach most popular attractions within about 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions. One notable advantage is that the hotel has front desk staff who are able to communicate in English. This makes the check in process and general enquiries much easier for international visitors who do not speak Mandarin. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM. In practice, if the buffet has been prepared before the official opening time, guests are generally allowed to start dining slightly earlier. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of dishes with an emphasis on traditional Chinese cuisine. The menu changes slightly each day, providing some variety for guests staying several nights. The dining area also includes automatic coffee machines and tea beverage dispensers, allowing guests to prepare drinks quickly and conveniently. Guest rooms are well equipped with essential amenities. Complimentary bottled drinking water, tea bags and instant coffee are replenished daily. Standard toiletries are provided including toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, razors and other necessities, allowing travellers to pack lightly. The beds are comfortable and provide good support for a restful night's sleep. The bathroom has strong water pressure and a reliable hot water supply that remains stable even during extended use. The air conditioning system performs well and maintains a comfortable indoor temperature. Each room is also equipped with a humidifier, which is particularly useful during Beijing's dry climate and helps improve sleeping comfort, especially for families with children. Overall, Beijing XinYuan Hotel offers excellent value for travellers seeking comfortable accommodation with complete facilities, reliable service and convenient transport connections. While it is not situated beside the city's main attractions, its easy access to the metro network and reasonable travelling time by taxi make it a practical and enjoyable base for exploring Beijing.

The cleanliness was impeccable; every surface, from the floors to the tabletops and corners, was spotless. The bedding was pristine white, soft, fluffy, and skin-friendly, and the mattress was just the right firmness, allowing for a deep, restful sleep that completely erased my travel fatigue. The bathroom had a great dry-wet separation, was fresh and odor-free, and the toiletries were complete and of good quality. All the appliances in the room worked perfectly, hot water supply was ample, and the WiFi speed was excellent, making both work and streaming a breeze. Housekeeping staff cleaned daily at scheduled times and replenished consumables as needed, showing great attention to detail. This stay far exceeded my expectations, definitely a five-star review! The hotel's location is superb, close to shopping areas and public transport, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. It perfectly balances easy access with a quiet living environment. The front desk staff, particularly Shangguan, was incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick, and she was patient and thorough throughout, proactively providing tips on using facilities and exploring the area. She even promptly responded to my request to heat up my own food.

The overall price is very high, I have dug the treasure with the baby! The front desk service of the hotel was super intimate, took the initiative to help upgrade the room, and also prepared children's slippers and toiletries. The room is spacious and the children are not crowded. The hotel has a special children's dining area and children's meals, and the children eat very happily. The staff will take the initiative to help when they see the elderly and children. The experience is great. I will come next time I bring my family!

The front desk lady had an excellent service attitude; she even showed us to our room after check-in. The room was nice, bright, clean, and quiet. The hotel is super convenient, just tens of meters from the Beijing West Railway Station entrance and the subway station. There are also several restaurants nearby. It's perfect for both sightseeing and catching a train.

This is the most comfortable place I've stayed at in Beijing recently. The location is excellent, close to West Railway Station, and you can spot the hotel's prominent sign right away. This new hostel model is quite innovative and offers great value for money during peak travel season. The cleaning staff are very diligent, and the place is spotless. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Beijing.
