Hotels in Yongdingmen and South Railway Station Area, Beijing

The room was surprisingly clean and tidy, with soft, odorless bedding. The bathroom was spotless, with a great wet/dry separation, and also completely odor-free. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, making my stay feel incredibly secure and comfortable. The facilities were excellent too; the high-speed Wi-Fi was perfect for streaming and working without any lag, and the silent air conditioning ensured a peaceful night's sleep. Everything I needed was readily available. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making check-in and check-out quick and efficient. They were also very patient in answering my travel questions, which made me feel right at home.

Service: The front desk staff was very polite and at least helped with luggage, but seemed a bit unfamiliar with procedures, like not knowing the TV channels in the room. Cleanliness: There were some shortcomings in the details, like a lot of visible dust under the mirror and in other obvious spots. Facilities: Quite comfortable. I slept wonderfully, which was great for adjusting to the time difference. There are many restaurants nearby; I had hotpot… The hotel breakfast was also good, with fresh vegetables and a wide variety of teas. I loved it! 😍

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Both the lobby and the outdoor courtyard are outstanding. It features a charming outdoor courtyard with a great atmosphere, complete with a brick wall perfect for photos that truly captures Beijing's character: a prominent 'Beijing' sign, traditional sand swallow kite decorations, and a fun 'Princess, get rich!' banner. It's a fantastic spot for pictures. The courtyard also has casual tables and chairs, perfect for resting after a long day of sightseeing. The greenery adds a touch of life, and there are photo opportunities everywhere. It's an ideal spot for anyone visiting Beijing and looking for great photo ops.

I've stayed at Jintai Home several times before, but this is my first time at the Beijing South Railway Station location, and it's by far the most satisfying experience. The service attitude is excellent, the room is very cozy, and there's plenty of space – not cramped at all. Both beds are 1.2 meters wide, the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and there's even a portable vanity mirror. And those little cookies in the snack pack are delicious!

The Executive Family Room was fantastic! The service was excellent, and the environment was clean and quiet. It's fully equipped, and the surrounding transportation is very convenient. It's an excellent choice for a stay in Beijing. Highly recommend booking it!

This is a 4-star hotel near Beijing South Railway Station. It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, about 10+ minutes. The service was excellent; every time I returned to the hotel during the day, a doorman would open the door for me. The business king room was spacious, and the bed was huge – a 2.2-meter bed was perfectly fine for two adults and one child, and there was even a sofa that could fit another small person. The hotel breakfast had a decent variety. Although it was advertised to end at 9 AM, service was still available until 9:30 AM. There's no swimming pool, but that's completely understandable for a 4-star hotel. Overall, it offers good value for money. A hotel of this caliber within the Second Ring Road would typically cost over 1000 RMB.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect—from the clean and spacious room to the complete set of toiletries provided. The location is a major plus. It was very easy to find, and having direct access to the subway made traveling around so convenient. Even though it is slightly away from the city center, the subway makes everywhere feel close by. Plus, there are supermarkets and plenty of restaurants right around the corner. Highly recommended for the affordable price and the comfort you get! ☺️👍

On my first day, I booked a deluxe king room, and as soon as I entered, I noticed an unpleasant odor. I called housekeeping, and they said they didn't know where the smell was coming from. So, I asked them to find someone in charge to deal with it. I overheard the housekeeper whispering to a colleague in the hallway, saying they couldn't smell anything at all. After escalating it through various levels, Manager Tingting eventually stepped in to resolve the issue. She didn't shirk responsibility and handled it very quickly, providing a new room and offering appropriate apologies and compensation. I was very satisfied with this solution. The room itself was generally okay, but there were a few details that I wasn't happy with: the water pressure from the faucet was excellent, which is a plus, but the faucet's mounting bracket was unstable, and I'm not sure if this is a widespread issue. When I used the in-room phone to call the front desk, the call quality was extremely poor; nearly half of the conversation had to be guessed, and it wasn't as clear as a traditional landline. If this is a common problem, I suggest providing a direct front desk landline number. Also, I wonder if it's due to fatigue, but sometimes the attitude and tone of individual front desk staff were quite poor. As someone who also works in the service industry, I can understand this to some extent. I'm giving a positive review this time solely because of Manager Tingting's swift and excellent handling of the situation. Regarding other facilities and staff training, I feel they haven't met the expected standards. As a Mercure hotel that only opened in 2026, it's understandable that the system isn't fully mature yet, but the overall guest experience definitely has room for improvement.

I was very satisfied with the room. The staff were very kind and welcoming. There are many breakfast and snack options nearby, and it's close to the subway station. I arrived at the hotel at 6:30 AM, and the staff kindly checked me in at 7:00 AM, which I really appreciated! Since I didn't take any photos inside the hotel, I'm uploading three exterior shots to earn some points.

The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I slept very well at night. The front desk staff were warm and friendly; check-in and check-out were quick, and they patiently answered any questions I had. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Beijing and will recommend it to my friends!
