Dunkeld East Hotel ★★★★
"We only went for dinner so cannot comment on the accommodation The view and restaurant is beautful Very tastefully decorated. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were very attentive friendly and efficient. Strangely though there’s no wine available in the restaurant When I asked the waitress she said we could have white or red house wine but had no idea from where it came. The red house wine was good though. The menu is small but caters for everyone and the food was very good and well presented. It arrived quickly and was exactly what we ordered We had to ask for serviettes and side plates but other than that I would certainly recommend this restaurant It’s in such a beautiful setting."
Wayside Lodge ★★
"keep in mind this place is pretty cheap so have realistic expectations. the room was comfortable and spacious, but a bit 'tired', scruffy furnishings etc, but the bed and bedding was excellent, so we slept well. the heater workrd, the TV kind-of worked. Wifi in the bar only. The staff were friendly and helpful, dinner was limited but good quality. Overall it was convenient and good value "
Gooderson Kloppenheim Country Estate ★★★★
"I loved everything about this resort! The staff & management in particular, are amazing. And it's as if they do well without even trying particularly hard. Ie., it just comes naturally. It's clear that everybody is very well-trained. Extremely beautiful surroundings, excellent service and the MOST amazing food!"
Cinzaco Dullstroom ★★★★
"Accommodation was very neat, beautifull, comfortable with a very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast and lunch provided was of high standards. Beautifull setting to take your family for a get away to unwind a bit, away from the bright city lights."
Hoyohoyo Machadostud Lodge ★★★
Walkersons Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"Safari365 arranged this Hotel for a stopover on our way to Kruger, and what a place it was. The location just out of Dullstroom was ideal and being winter and cold the fireplaces in the rooms was fantastic after enjoying a well prepared meal in their Restaurant. I could not fault anything about this place and highly recommend it for an overnight stop and for two or three days,"
Highland Rose Country House & Serenity Spa ★★★

"Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I do feel it’s important to share our experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was beautifully set up with a romantic touch, which we truly appreciated. The food was lovely, and we especially enjoyed the cozy fireplace during breakfast — it added such a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The only issue we had was with our couples spa package. We had arranged a specific time and were ready as scheduled, but we were not shown where to go for the spa treatment. As we weren’t familiar with the layout, we waited — unfortunately, almost two hours passed before we enquired, only to find out that the next couple had already been booked. Thankfully, the staff assisted in arranging a new booking, and once we finally had our spa treatment, it was absolutely fantastic. Despite the hiccup, we had a wonderful experience overall and would recommend it — especially for a romantic getaway."
Fox & Squirrel ★★★★
"Stunning view of the dam and mountain here. Dorothy is also the sweetest lady. Amazing leather shop in the area and great food at Vine eatery"
Elandskloof Trout Farm ★★
"Excellent venue for trout fishing. Been there twice. This time however a cold front took fish of the bite. The chalets are excellent equipped and very cosy once the fire is burning. The dams are on your front stoep and the staff extremely friendly. Please is well kept and well looked after. Wifi and TV is not up to scratch as signal is dropped non stop and it is an effort to watch anything or to use the internet."
