"If we could give Palazzo Genazzini 12 STARS, we absolutely would! Our stay here was, without question, the highlight of our entire summer trip. The hotel had reopened less than a month before our arrival after a 3 year renovation and no detail was overlooked. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. At the front desk, Alizée gave us a warm welcome, personally escorted us to our room, and took the time to show us all of its many features and amenities. It immediately set the tone for an exceptional stay. In the restaurant, Jessica and Lorenzo made breakfast something we genuinely looked forward to. They quickly learned our preferences, the food was consistently delicious. The concierge team, Fabio and Fabiola, were incredible. They helped us navigate logistics throughout our stay and were always happy to answer questions or offer recommendations, making everything effortless. Finally, we can’t say enough about Valentina, the Front of House Manager. She was genuinely warm and always eager to help in any way she could and the thoughtful thank you gift she presented us at checkout was the perfect finishing touch. Palazzo Genazzini has set a new standard for luxury hospitality. Beautiful accommodations are one thing, but it’s the people who make a stay unforgettable and this team exceeded every expectation. We cannot wait to return."

"The apartment is in a great location, very beautiful, and the service is great. They sent a basket of food for breakfast, and there is a supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient. The staff even let us use the swimming pool of another apartment building :)"

"The hotel is magnificent! Almost everything was perfect: spacious territory, very tasty breakfasts and a restaurant with a gorgeous view of the lake, a spa area and a gym, a lounge, there is even a library. Excellent location. The only thing that was not very comfortable for us personally was the hard mattresses (standard room), but after talking to the staff they said that they are updating the rooms to newer ones and this issue will also be resolved."

"I've never paid so much and gotten so little at a hotel. For over $400 a night I was shocked at the bare-bones nature of this hotel. No curtains, only sheers so we were woken up at dawn. No wash cloths. No door on the shower, leaving toilet and floor soaking wet. No end table on my side of the bed, just a mini fridge (is this a dorm??) Hair dryer so weak it would have taken hours. No soapdish- soap just sloppily laying there. Staff didn't tell us all the information when we checked in so we were clueless. The location was awful too. We were over 30 minutes by foot from town with no sidewalk, a dangerous walk. So we drove, and it was so crowded it took an hour to park. Miserable trip, sickened by how much we overpaid for this place."
