Hotel Marina Bima ★★★
"The photos do not belong to the hotel; they are photos of the Marina Inn hotel and not of Hotel Marina! It feels like a relief; also, there was nothing available or to make yourself, like a cup of coffee or tea. The photos show beautiful dinners and breakfasts, but that does not apply to this Hotel Marina. The receptionist knew this. "Oh yes, I know, these photos are of the other hotel; only this one, a sofa in an open space, is from here." There is one central light in the bedroom, no bedside lamps, no power outlets to charge your phone. A shelf that is so crooked you can't sit on it, and a dirty and squeaky bathroom door that wakes the other person up. It is so noisy there that you can hear the receptionists talking and laughing, and literally hear them talking, even though you have a room on the first floor. You can hear the phone downstairs ringing on the first floor. All the doors slam shut; you can literally hear even moving the cleaning staff's bucket. It is heavily tiled and a cold place. It is simply not furnished in a livable way. Great, you think, a big wardrobe when you enter for the first time; yes, a big wardrobe with 2 hangers. What is the point of this? The boat we arrived on arrived very inconveniently at 2:15 AM. Taxis did not come to the harbor. I called the hotel but they didn't answer. The answer was ‘we cannot answer.’ Or something similar. My husband and I—a 70-year-old man and I, 68—were injured because I fell on the ship and sustained a large head wound, a bruised wrist, and a painful groin causing me to walk very slowly. We walked together through a dangerous neighborhood, even though we had been advised against it—he with a cane and I with a stone in my hand, two suitcases and two backpacks—through that district. We walked to the hotel at 3:00 AM! At the hotel, it was closed. A neighbor who happened to be out on the street rattled the gate, and then a receptionist came out, thankfully. But very unusual, of course! So, below are the hotels: Hotel Marina uses the photos and text from Hotel Marina Inn!"

"I stayed here for one night. The hostel is very clean, and they have a nice cafe, although it's currently undergoing renovations and has changed a bit. If you come during rice season, the view is absolutely stunning, as the lake in front of the cafe is actually a rice field."

"I was relieved of all my aussie cash. ($500 to $600) in $50.00 notes. Apparently anyone can enter your room. I returned to find a guy who told me he had been through my bags looking for the motorbike key, (which I was ready to return to reception). Wouldn’t recommend this place to my enemy."
