Forshaws Hotel – Blackpool

The seafront location was great but was put into probably one of the worst room locations as I had booked from Trip. Come (as advised by receptionist) Was only staying for one night so not too much a issue but not suitable for any longer stays

We was in a disability room there was only 2 plug sockets furniture had to be rearranged so I plug my cpac machine in was told by 2 staff members I could have an extention but wasn't given one and had to ask twice for a shower chair as there was anywhere to sit if you can't stand to have a shower noisy at night from surrounding clubs till about 3am not there fault they do have double glazing and thick curtains staff was friendly it was clean

This hotel did have a large room for the price which was good but the bathroom was dirty I liked that me and my partner didn’t get disturbed as if you wanted the room cleaning you only had to ask at reception and they would do it the day after which was good I would stay again but I would ask for a front view as we had a room on the side

This is an old hotel and although the staff were helpful and professional, the room was quite small, the secondary glazing was ineffective and ill fitting that meant the strong wind made the windows rattle and noisy that allowed cold air to enter the room easily. The fitted panel radiator did not work and the although the small convector heater did warm the room it fell over several times as one of the feet was broken. One of the soap dispensers in the bathroom was empty and it took ages for hot water to appear from the tap and the shower. One of the 2 electrical sockets was unusable and the other got really warm when the heater was plugged into it. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were really hard and not comfortable to sleep on. The hotel's location is good being close to the north pier and Tower Ballroom and tram stop. We used the pub/ restaurant attached to the Premier Inn close by for a full breakfast and an evening meal where a full breakfast was available for a similar price to that charged here for just a continental breakfast.

Central to everything. Breakfast continental. Clean and tidy nice hot showers. Room not massive but good enough for 2 people who are only there to sleep

It is what it is. Not bad at all. A budget choice. Would stay here again

The staff were excellent and rooms clean. However as someone with a disability both lifts went out of order so long flight of stairs meant problems. Plug in heater in the room fused into the socket. Could have started a major fire. Will definitely return but only when the refurb complete. Price was excellent value for money

Nothing like it looks on the website or photos, quite run down, doors feel like they aren’t properly closed or locked, as two young girls staying we felt quite uneasy walking through the hotel etc. The room was relatively clean and bed was okay but very basic and looks like the whole building needs redecorated and upgraded.
