"I recently stayed at the Hôtel de Bourbon (the Mercure one) in Bourges, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a little piece of history while still having all the modern comforts you could want. My room was a classic double, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent—properly supportive after a day of wandering around—and the bathroom had a great walk-in shower with good water pressure. Everything felt freshly renovated (they did a big update around 2018), with a nice blend of modern touches and the old abbey character. Some rooms overlook the park, which must be lovely in summer."

It is always a real pleasure to come to your establishment during my business trips. The reception is open at night which is very nice. The breakfast is excellent and you remember your hot drink during your previous visit. I welcome the flexibility of breakfast times as I often have to leave early. All these little touches mean that I can only recommend you to my friends and colleagues. Reservation by email and incredible response responsiveness."

"Hotel was fine for a stopover. We had a quadruple room as was a family of four. Air conditioning was nice during the heatwave but sadly our children were hot upstairs sleeping on the mezzanine level as the air con didn’t reach up there. There was a small fan however, Bedding and bathroom clean. Parking outside was a plus. All in all, perfect for a night’s stopover,"
