"We drove ourselves, and the free parking here was a huge plus. The room was spacious and even had basic cooking utensils. The only letdown was the breakfast; it was pretty sad, just a few slices of bread with coffee and milk. It's fine for a one-night stay, but don't expect much from the breakfast."

The facilities is good enough to have a relax and enjoyable swimming pool and sauna room after a long day. Food wise is pretty tasty, while it may not be free flow in term of buffet style."

"Service was above standards, shared facilities were well maintained, the room was clean and sufficient. Bit of a struggle with no A/C however the fan provided in the room helped out with that problem, (you get what you pay for). Very sufficient for short stays. We booked very last minute and were still met with happy staff with a room card and spare cards ready for us to take with simple instructions to get to our room."

"I booked the pet room with my dog and was really happy with the room. The room is spacious and clean, it also has a backyard for my dog which was really great. I thought I had to pay for parking but the staff told me the parking at the front of the building is free and I was quite lucky and managed to get a spot when I got there. Location is great, not far from CBD and all the resturants so there were lot food choices. Also really loved the building and the garden, will definitely be choosing Mercure next time I am in Canberra."
