HHong JangWhen I arrived at this hotel early in the morning, I actually felt puzzled, wondering if all the surrounding shops and other hotels were closed. It seemed that not only was it not the peak tourist season, but the economic situation might also be unfavorable, which likely explained it.
Since I arrived at the hotel too early, no rooms were ready yet. So, I left my luggage with the hotel first and set out for a tour of the western course of Mount Baekdu.
When I returned, my luggage had already been placed in the room assigned to me.
The condition of the room was impeccably clean. When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, the bright sunlight streaming into the room made me feel incredibly refreshed.
I went down to the lobby for breakfast, and the hotel owner personally set the table. The food was exceptionally neat and delicious.
Moreover, the owner spoke better English than anyone else at other hotels, which was a great help.
It was a clean, cozy, and comfortable hotel to stay in.
The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, but carrying luggage up one floor shouldn’t be a problem for most people. And considering that the hotel is right across from the western tourism center of Mount Baekdu, its location more than makes up for the inconvenience of not having an elevator.

由于我到酒店太早，房间还没整理好，所以我先将行李寄存在酒店，然后出发去长白山西坡景区游览。
回来时，我的行李已经放在分配好的房间里了。
房间干净得无可挑剔。早上醒来拉开窗帘，明媚的阳光照进房间，心情格外舒畅。
下楼到大厅吃早餐时，酒店老板亲自为我摆桌，食物非常整洁美味。
而且，老板的英语比其它任何酒店的员工都好，这给了我很大帮助。
这是一家干净、舒适、温馨的酒店。
唯一的缺点是没有电梯，但提着行李只上一层楼对大多数人来说应该不是问题。考虑到酒店正对着长白山西坡旅游中心，其优越的地理位置完全足以弥补没有电梯的不便。

NnurelyaImpression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com.
Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area.
Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring.
Pros:
1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty.
2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money.
3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English.
4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes.
Cons:
1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids.
2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

GGuest UserStayed with my family during Chinese New Year. We booked a club suite and a club king room. The rooms were a bit dated but generally well-maintained. The club rooms come with executive lounge access. The light meals are served in the lobby on the first floor, and while the selection wasn't huge, it was convenient. We had a butler who added us on WeChat, recommended some local attractions and activities, and helped arrange transportation, showing good service. If you're bringing kids for skiing in winter, definitely book a coach in advance via the mini-program.

AAnonymous UserWe originally planned to stay for just 3 nights, but ended up extending our stay to 6 — and a big part of that was thanks to the amazing hospitality from the manager, Mr Zhang Meng Xu.
Zhang was incredibly responsive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. What really made the difference was how he took the time to introduce us to many attractions, activities, foods, and interesting things to do around the area. His recommendations made the trip far more enjoyable and helped us discover places, foods we probably would have missed otherwise.
Because of his helpful guidance and the welcoming atmosphere, extending our stay felt like an easy decision. Truly appreciate the great service and hospitality. Highly recommended

GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Changbaishan and staying at the Jinhua Hotel. The hotel was clean and well-maintained overall, and the rooms were spacious. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. What really stood out were the many special activities for kids, which my child absolutely loved. The hotel's scenery is also beautiful; taking the cable car up the mountain provides an unobstructed panoramic view. You can also enjoy activities like the sliding car and digging for ginseng. I especially want to commend the executive lounge staff, Gjnnn. She was incredibly responsible and responsive to all my inquiries about the activities I wanted to try. The weather wasn't great during my stay, and some activities like rafting and the sliding car were closed at times. She kept me updated via WeChat about any special closures. She's super nice, diligent, and responsible! 👍🏻

YYingzi 120We brought our parents and children to Wanda for a summer getaway and stayed in the Jin Hua suite. Our whole family was very satisfied. From before we even left, customer service representative Xixi sent us real-time updates: the weather and temperature in Changbaishan, available activities, how to get around, and so on—every detail was handled perfectly. They reserved a spacious room for us and allowed a late check-out. The service was prompt and responsive. Xixi and the housekeeping staff were incredibly thoughtful, providing plenty of drinking water and toiletries. This really showcased the genuine warmth and generosity of the people from Northeast China. We had a wonderful time in Changbaishan at a pleasant 22 degrees Celsius. We look forward to visiting again!

GGuest UserBeyond five-star! I was traveling with my child and mother, and we ultimately chose this place. What a delightful surprise! The environment is fantastic, and my child had a wonderful time. Manager Coco especially deserves 200 points for this trip. She was incredibly enthusiastic and helped coordinate everything. Manager Coco was warm, patient, and provided thoughtful arrangements throughout our stay. Her travel tips and suggestions were super practical, and she responded instantly to any questions. She's both gentle and professional. The hotel environment is comfortable, the scenery is beautiful, and the stay experience was excellent. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely look for Manager Coco on my next visit!

Its back exit from the restaurant leads directly to the Haidongqing Ski Service Center, meaning no long queues for ski rentals or returns. The equipment is relatively new, and the flow is smooth, which is great for both beginners and advanced skiers. It's also close to the Dragon Cable Car, providing access to multiple runs once you reach the top, offering a fantastic ski-in/ski-out experience. The airport is about a 25-minute drive, and the hotel provides scheduled shuttle services, accommodating even late-night flights, making travel very convenient.
The guest rooms are simple yet practical, with a moderate amount of space. The heating is ample, and hot water is consistent. The bedding is comfortable, and both soundproofing and cleanliness are top-notch. Some rooms offer views of the snow-covered mountains, providing a wonderful winter ambiance. The 'Yue' Restaurant offers a rich and varied buffet breakfast, combining Chinese and Western options with plenty of hot food to refuel after skiing. For other meals, you can order authentic Northeastern specialty dishes, which are delicious and offer good value. Packages often include ski passes, hot springs, and water park access, making it a very cost-effective option for a one-stop vacation.
On the downside, the rooms aren't particularly large, so multiple pieces of luggage might feel a bit cramped. Also, the resort's shuttle bus schedule is fixed, and you might have to wait during peak hours. Overall, these minor drawbacks don't detract from the experience. The location, convenience for skiing, service, and value for money are all exceptional. It's a foolproof choice for a winter vacation in Changbaishan, highly recommended for skiers, families, and leisure travelers.

DDidihongThe hotel environment is absolutely beautiful, nestled within the Wanda Resort villas, surrounded by lush greenery. The complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from both the train station and airport is very convenient. The room facilities are complete, and the balcony offers a stunning view of Changbai Mountain. The hotel service is excellent; the restaurant, housekeeping, concierge, and front desk staff are all incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Special shout-out to our duty manager, Joy, who added us on WeChat beforehand, making our check-in process smooth and reassuring. The hotel breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, and the à la carte dining is a nice touch. I'll definitely choose Park Hyatt again for future trips to see Changbai Mountain and Tianchi Lake!

Sshaney yeo jun xinA truly unique and memorable experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt very well taken care of. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely accommodating, which made our stay extremely comfortable and stress-free.
A special mention goes to the receptionist H, who was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. As we did not have the local apps in China, she kindly assisted us with ordering taxis and food delivery, always with patience and a warm attitude. Her help made a huge difference and we truly appreciated her care and attentiveness.
We would also like to specially thank 陆陆, who helped us arrange everything related to skiing. From organizing ski clothing rentals to coordinating transportation to the ski resort just a few minutes away, everything was handled very smoothly and professionally. In addition, 陆陆 took the time to recommend many places to visit and shared detailed information, which made our trip even more enjoyable and well-planned.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of service, convenience, and hospitality. It’s rare to find a place where the staff are so attentive and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again 🥰
