The front desk always had a queue, and the staff seemed flustered, always busy but not sure what they were busy with. When checking in, staff member A asked for our ID. After finishing with the person in front, staff member B then asked for my ID again. I told her I had already given it to them. Staff member C then reminded B that it was right next to her, and B proceeded to complain to C for not reminding her earlier. When I returned to pick up my stored luggage after checking out, I handed the luggage tag to staff member B. B then asked me where the luggage was. I had given you the tag, and you're asking me where it is? You're the ones who put it away, how would I know? Now I finally understand why they're always busy; the efficiency is just too low.

From the hotel, a taxi to Fengjian Water Town was about 46 RMB (a bit far), to Fisherman's Wharf was about 17 RMB, and it took only 9 minutes to get to Daliang Shunde Fisherman's Village for dim sum... As a stopover and resupply point, it's more than sufficient. Big shout-out to Gavin Zhao Peilin at the front desk! He was incredibly helpful with his detailed recommendations; clearly, he's a local who knows all the best places to eat and drink.
