GGuest UserMy daughter and I recently stayed at Raffles Hotel Clearwater Bay, and Darryl's service was truly heartwarming. After we checked out, I realized my daughter had left her small toy in the room. I contacted him, and he immediately found it, carefully packed it, and shipped it out the same day, even proactively providing the tracking number. Throughout the process, he communicated patiently and even thoughtfully covered the shipping costs himself. This kind of responsible and meticulous service made us feel the hotel's sincerity long after our trip ended. My daughter was overjoyed to get her lost toy back. This level of care, far exceeding our expectations, was truly unforgettable.

DDominic FHotel Sanya Terran is the kind of place that inspires you to start writing a novel.
When I arrived there in the late evening around midnight or a bit after, the entrance lobby had me entranced, as it was serenaded in a blue glow, trickling different shades and layers of neon and dark blue. It added an aura of mystery, as not many people were around.
As I stayed there for a number of days, I felt, at times, like I was in an adventure novel. There are gigantic stone decorations that make it feel like you are walking through an ancient ruin. Long glass corridors wrap around many parts of the building and align with rows of hotel rooms (in one of the bldgs).
The pool is lovely and nestled in between the two wings of the hotel. The second wing of the hotel has rooms and the fitness center, where many holiday-goers are active taking instructed classes.
There were times were it felt like I was in an elaborate lair setting in a video game. The front lobby has grand seating arrangements, one of which has a foot pool recessed inside the main couch lounge near the front desk.
Overall, it was wonderful, and I was able to meet some interesting individuals. The room was immaculate and a giant steal at that price. Just a note: when ordering takeout (esp. Western food), many shops are further away, and may not be able to deliver to the hotel. It's better to go into the nearby town to find food. The hotel manager was kind enough to drive me there one night.
I look forward to going there again and continuing the thrilling adventure✨

MM-nangeTraveling with my parents on a self-driving trip, I chose this Sheraton for its brand reputation, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Located right by the sea, the hotel was very clean. The front desk staff, especially one gentleman and one lady, provided excellent service. We arrived a bit late and my parents were tired from the drive, but they quickly processed our check-in and even upgraded our room. The breakfast was good, and the swimming pool and gym were also nice. I even forgot an item when we left, and they kindly mailed it back to me, which I really appreciate. If I get the chance to visit Lingshui again, I'll definitely stay here.

EEE089800San Yue Hotel is amazing! The hotel itself is beautiful. The sea view room was incredibly spacious and elegantly designed. The vanity area was quite luxurious, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing so many bottles of mineral water – truly considerate! There's a delicious Chinese restaurant on the 20th floor, and on the 21st, there's a sky pool with a spot where you can sit, enjoy the breeze, and watch the sunset – absolutely perfect! The hotel's beachfront garden is also stunning, and the Mulan photography service was excellent; the photos turned out beautifully! I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance. It's a fantastic hotel!

FFeifeiThe hotel's design is full of artistic flair, and the rooms are large with a simple yet grand aesthetic. The layout is well-planned, and the cleanliness is commendable. The balcony is a good size, facing the sea, so you can watch the sunrise directly from bed or while sitting on the balcony. The bathroom area is spacious and very user-friendly. The bedding is comfortable, and the speaker system is excellent.
Tilly provided warm and prompt service, and the room service was also very thoughtful.
The breakfast lattes were delicious, the tea eggs were tasty, the fruit selection was abundant, and there was a wide variety of desserts and bread.
The hotel shares common areas with Kimpton, which are well worth exploring, even if you get a little lost. It's also close to the beach with fine sand, though the sea breeze can be quite strong in the afternoon. You can spend an entire afternoon swaying in a hammock under the palm trees, or relax on a lounge chair by the pool, enjoying the gentle breeze and gazing at the infinity pool, lost in thought.
Overall, the experience was great, and I would choose to stay here again in the future.

2200131****Everything was great except for the bed being too soft and a slight odor in the bathroom. We were given room 1050, a premium sea view room on the 10th floor. Although it didn't directly face the pool, we still had a side view of the New Year's Eve fireworks that were set off in front of the pool.
The noodles at the noodle shop on the second floor were delicious, even better than the Lanzhou lamian I've had in Guangzhou and Zhuhai! The lobster buffet on New Year's Eve wasn't refilled quickly enough; items like salmon, which were more popular, were gone in seconds. Places with a lot of Chinese people, especially families with elderly folks, tend to be chaotic, which is a characteristic of domestic tourism that I'm not a fan of.
The pool fireworks were fantastic, I'm glad we didn't go to R&F Bay to watch them! That would have been a waste of time, effort, and money!
Anyway, a vacation in Hainan is all about enjoying the hotel and the beach, relaxing and unwinding! I'd bring my parents to Lingshui next time and stay at the Westin again!

MM237498****We had an unforgettable birthday vacation with our children at Capella Sanya. Daisy, our cultural ambassador, made us feel so welcome from the moment we checked in. The room was beautifully decorated for the birthday, and our child was absolutely thrilled. Every staff member greeted us with a warm smile, making us feel right at home.
The hotel itself is like a tropical garden, with palm-lined pools leading to a stunning beach. Every step is a picturesque view. The kids' club offers a wide array of activities, and the water park kept our child entertained and laughing. The facilities are excellent and well-designed, making every moment, whether strolling along the beach or relaxing by the pool, utterly delightful.
This stay perfectly blended friendly service with natural beauty, leaving us with cherished memories as sweet as the sea breeze. I wholeheartedly recommend it. From Capella Shanghai Jian Ye Li all the way to Sanya, Capella has never disappointed me. Highly recommended!

MM14525****If you want a sea view, you really should choose the Ocean View Building. I stayed one night each at the Ocean View Building and the Ocean Listening Building. The Ocean Listening Building is more affordable, but the Ocean View Building has better views. I have to say, the hotel is very comprehensive – well-equipped and great for kids, with all sorts of activities and play facilities. The hotel's beach is also close to the rooms. This is definitely a hotel I'd visit again!

YYuxiaoxiaoI stayed for two nights. The good points are that the scenery is indeed beautiful, and the bedding is very comfortable. However, there's virtually no service, so be sure to consider that before coming. There aren't many attractions in the park; one day is enough to explore them all. Kids might prefer digging in the sand on the beach.
While the hotel supposedly offers a butler service, the butler did nothing beyond adding me on WeChat. They only bothered to ask if I had a good stay after I had already checked out and left, which was ridiculously slow.
I also recommend avoiding the complimentary travel photography service. When I called to book, they were very evasive about pricing, muttering about 'many packages' without giving any details or quotes. After the shoot, when choosing photos, they deliberately show you the retouched versions first, then compare them to the unedited originals to push you towards buying the retouches. Honestly, the unedited shots were really ugly. I took photos at 8:30 AM on a bright, sunny day, and the results were worse than what my phone could capture. It made me strongly suspect they deliberately manipulated the raw files to make the retouched ones look better. If those were the genuine unedited shots, then the photography skills are truly questionable.
The most infuriating part was the ridiculously inflated prices for photo selection. They seemed to charge different people different rates, clearly gauging customers. For someone not good at bargaining, this was a terrible experience and felt like the hotel and photography studio were colluding to rip people off. In comparison, at my previous hotel, for the same price, I received all raw photos plus 10 retouched ones. The quality of those raw photos was comparable to, or even better than, the retouched ones offered here. Yet, for the same price, this place only gave me 12 photos they claimed were retouched.

The bedding is clean and there is a refrigerator. 3️⃣ The staff sent us to the high-speed rail station. 4️⃣ The food was good and they gave us free fruit. 5️⃣ It's less than ten minutes' walk to the deserted beach. I believe the facilities will get better and better in the future. I look forward to staying here again next time (very suitable for elderly people to live in. The infrastructure is very good, the toilet has handrails and a shower bench. The staff are super patient and enthusiastic! !
