In the morning, I watched the hotel staff carefully clean the swimming pool for almost 2 hours, and then went in for a happy swim. The sea and sky were all the same color, lawns, woods, beaches, and sea water. Compared to the kind of seaside villas with unobstructed views , the progressive depth of different landscapes, and the sense of envelopment brought by the mountains and the sea, let people blend into the embrace of nature in a very safe state, and return to the most authentic state,,, through the woods When I saw the local people sitting or standing on the rocks on the seaside in the distance, Zheng Zhihua's sailors instantly came to my mind. The freedom and power shown in this picture will also become a kind of spiritual nourishment that will nourish the future. Life, this is one of the meanings of travel.

GGuest UserThe boss is very nice and upgraded the room for free. The room is fully equipped with a refrigerator, TV, washing machine and kitchen utensils. It is also very clean and the furniture is very new. The large balcony is also equipped with a clothes drying rack, which is particularly convenient for drying clothes. The most important thing is that the room has a central air conditioner. Each area has a separate control switch, which is especially friendly to the elderly and children. If you are afraid of the cold, you can turn on the air conditioner in the living room and turn off the air conditioner in the bedroom. You can see the sea from the balcony, and it only takes five minutes to walk to the beach. When I brought my children, the boss gave me a card to enjoy Aloha's water village, swimming pool and children's playground for free. It was a great experience and I will stay here again next time.

CChayuwuxushuiduyinAlthough it's an older hotel in Lingshui, the service and vacation atmosphere are still top-notch. The hotel strictly controls guest traffic, only allowing registered guests inside, making it very private and orderly. Even during peak season, it never feels crowded.
Rooms: The rooms are incredibly spacious, starting from 80sqm, with elegant and grand Southeast Asian tropical decor. The standard pool room offers a great location, fantastic views, and plenty of fun. Double vanities, Dyson hairdryers, and coffee machines truly elevate the quality.
Beach: The hotel's private beach is just a few minutes' walk away. It's wide, flat, and features a beach buffet available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The white sand is fine and soft, making it child-friendly. There's also the famous lighthouse and a seaside chapel, perfect for photos and creating a wonderful ambiance. It's an excellent spot to watch the sunset.
Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at Disha Village Restaurant offers a rich variety, balancing both Chinese and Western options. You can also order à la carte. They have signature lobster wontons, local Hainan noodles, smoked salmon, seafood congee, freshly squeezed juices, desserts, and a noodle station. Open until 11 am, it's perfect for a relaxed brunch after sleeping in. The food pickup is well-organized.
Butler Service: Raffles' signature butler service truly lives up to its reputation. My family and I experienced warm and personalized butler service, not just generic WeChat group messages. Since we were celebrating an anniversary, our butler, Chloe, arranged a full set of ceremonial touches and a hand-drawn card. Throughout our three-day stay, she provided thoughtful updates on weather changes and hotel activities.
Overall, the hotel service is gentle and courteous, especially the excellent service. It's particularly suitable for family vacations, offering a quiet and orderly environment. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserBefore check-in, housekeeper Winnie contacted us and arranged the room perfectly. During our stay, any requests we had were promptly addressed by Winnie, though relaying them to housekeeping for delivery to the room often took some time, and housekeeping frequently missed items we asked for. The turndown service felt quite perfunctory; the duvet was just casually folded, and while the trash was emptied, it was easy to miss the service altogether. The breakfast selection was excellent, but we could never get a sunken seat as they were always 'reserved'. This was the first hotel I've encountered where you need to reserve a spot for breakfast. The most satisfying aspect of our stay was the staff by the pool and on the beach. A staff member in a blue uniform noticed I couldn't swim and proactively brought me a swim ring, and a mermaid-themed one at that, which was great for photos – their attentiveness truly deserves praise. When my child injured a toe while playing in the sand, the staff member on duty at the beach replenishment station immediately ran to the pool area to get disinfectant swabs and a band-aid for me without a second thought. This level of service perfectly matches the hotel's positioning. My only complaint is the takeaway delivery service to the room. You really need to mentally prepare for a wait of at least half an hour. I understand that the delivery cabinet might be far or they might be short-staffed, but it would be better to inform guests upfront or simply cancel the service rather than having us eat cold food.

I blindly chose this Hilton Garden Inn for our family vacation in Hainan, and it was absolutely divine! The entire experience was flawless, so I have to write a heartfelt review and strongly recommend it to all families with kids!

The hotel is sparkling new and clean, with a modern and luxurious design. There's absolutely no new-decoration smell. From the lobby to the rooms, every detail is exquisitely crafted. The blue and white ocean theme is incredibly soothing and perfect for photos! The facilities, bedding, and bathroom amenities are all premium brands, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay.

GGuest UserI traveled with my best friend and stayed at the hotel for two days, so I wanted to write a proper review. We didn't do any research before choosing Xiangshui Bay; we just picked this hotel when we saw it. We drove there ourselves, which was convenient. The hotel is about 700-800 meters from the street, located in a villa area. The butler had informed us of our license plate number beforehand, as other cars aren't allowed in this area. Upon entering the villa area, I was struck by how large it was, but it felt a bit deserted. The check-in area wasn't what I expected. Having stayed at Raffles Hotel before, I assumed it would be similar, but there were only two young men there to greet us. However, I must say that the two men who greeted us were incredibly patient, and they should have upgraded my room for free—it was a whopping 500 square meters! After check-in, the butler took us to our room, and wow, it was huge! It took several minutes to get there in the sightseeing vehicle. Now, let's talk about the hotel itself. For this price, the room was excellent value. While the hotel facilities weren't particularly new, they were comprehensive and very comfortable. We had such a pleasant stay that we didn't want to leave. The butler was always available, which was wonderful. The hotel's public areas were a bit messy, perhaps due to the heavy rain, but the overall scenery was nice. I wasn't very satisfied with the food; breakfast wasn't a buffet. The hotel has its own restaurant, but it seemed rather empty. It's better to eat outside the hotel; the seafood restaurant across the street is particularly delicious, with great taste and reasonable prices. For those who prefer a quieter atmosphere, this is a great place. Renting a car would be more convenient, as it's quite far from the hotel. I would definitely bring friends here again next time. ✌️

WWomenshixingfudexiaoliangkouOur summer vacation in Hainan has come to an end. Honestly, if I were to rate this stay purely on the hotel's overall operational standards, I'd have to give it a 'fail'. However, seeing the satisfied smiles on my family's faces, I feel the trip wasn't a total loss. As a returning guest, I'm writing this review because I care deeply about this place, and that's why I'm being so critical.
Let's start with the warm highlights. The Chinese restaurant maintained its high standards, offering both delicious dishes and reassuring service. Special thanks to Chef He and Sister Sue; they weren't just professional but also provided truly warm service. Catching up with them is always pleasant and fun. Luna, the cultural tourism officer, was incredibly hardworking, diligent, and had an excellent attitude, consistently providing warm and thoughtful service during our stay. And the housekeeping auntie in our room, who silently guarded our private space with remarkable efficiency and impeccable cleanliness. It's these shining individuals who truly embody the meaning of 'Welcome Home' (Jia, the hotel's name).
However, the shortcomings exposed during this stay were equally glaring, even somewhat disappointing. Firstly, the concierge service: sometimes staff were too busy chatting to offer timely assistance to ladies and children. There were communication issues at the front desk; the duty manager seemed unable to identify problems and lacked proactivity and professionalism. The breakfast restaurant's overall efficiency was low, and staff seemed to have a 'going through the motions' attitude. Compared to before, they were less enthusiastic about recommending specialty drinks, etc. I'd suggest they take a leaf out of the Edition's restaurant book when it comes to work efficiency.
Furthermore, the kids' summer camp organized by the recreation department was a mess in terms of reservations and procedures, completely disregarding the genuine needs of children who wished to participate multiple times. The Thai restaurant's taste was significantly worse than before, with awkward, unauthentic modifications and sour, astringent dessert toppings. The safety hazard of engineering staff driving electric carts without 'giving way to pedestrians' was truly alarming. And when the lounge's live music was quietly canceled, that signature Capella evening ambiance also faded considerably.
Capella Hainan once planted so many beautiful memories in our hearts, which is why we're so bothered by these flaws now. We're willing to lay out these issues because deep down, we still have hope for this place. We sincerely hope the hotel addresses these pain points and doesn't continue to 'lie flat'. We look forward to seeing your progress and a refreshed, more confident Capella Hainan during our next reunion.

GGuest UserSelf-driving around the island in Hainan: Lingshui. Since I am traveling with my parents, I booked a family room... which is more suitable for families with children. If they are all adults, a suite or two rooms are more suitable~
About facilities
Parking🅿️: Although it is located in front of the hotel, it belongs to the public parking space of the adjacent store. There is no charge and there are almost no parking spaces. Since our model is an MPV, we still have to wait for a suitable parking space~
Room 🚪: Due to the renovation of the hotel, the normal-sized single bed and double bed, the bathroom, the sink, the toilet flush normally, the floor drains without odor, the shower head flushes and the hot water is normally equipped with disposable toiletries (dental set/shaving/care package) /shower cap)….There is no small refrigerator in the room. The TV channels are clear and there is free WiFi.
Regarding hygiene, hygiene at sight is acceptable.
Regarding the environment, there are teahouses and music restaurants in the external environment. If you don’t want to be disturbed, ask the front desk for a quiet room in advance. The internal environment is normal and the space is fully utilized.
Regarding the service, there is a proactive greeting at the front desk. High ⭐ hotel necessities~
Regarding catering, there are two breakfasts in the room. You pay the member price at the front desk and get an extra breakfast. Although you have to walk one floor to the breakfast floor, the breakfast content is very good. The taste is also very good. The service attitude is also very good.

Cleanliness: It was quite clean, with daily housekeeping.
Environment: The sea around the island was generally clean, and you could see a 'glass sea'. I want to specifically mention the direct ocean access from the balcony, which was a key factor in choosing this room type. The water level here is quite high in the mornings and evenings, generally over 2 meters deep. The tide recedes from morning to afternoon, especially from 12 PM to 6 PM, when the water level is shallower. After going into the sea, there's a complimentary 'Elf Village' snorkeling experience. Personally, I felt there were some floating objects in the water, which staff said were coral secretions. From the balcony, you could see manta rays and schools of fish. Picture 1 shows what you can capture from the balcony, and Picture 2 shows feeding the manta rays.
Service: Not enough water was provided in the room, just two bottles a day, replenished daily. Although the front desk gave us a few small bottles when we asked for more, they suggested we buy our own at the supermarket.
