Lingshui Hotels with Bars

First and foremost, a big shout-out to our butler, Winnie, who was incredibly enthusiastic and highly efficient, always ready to help with our requests. The hotel itself shares public areas with the Indigo, and the public spaces are a bit small. This means the pool is always crowded, no matter the time of day. Although there was a queue for breakfast, we got in relatively quickly. The variety of food items was excellent and very impressive. The turndown service with cocktails and minibar replenishment every evening was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. My only minor complaint is that the bar closes too early, at 11 PM. Additionally, the staff at the Chess & View were very welcoming. They even changed the movie for us when there were no other guests, which was a nice gesture. However, the air conditioning in the cinema was too noisy, and the sound system was too quiet, so the experience wasn't as good as I'd hoped. On the other hand, there were several flaws in the room's design and functionality: ① They used a stone material in the bathroom, which is difficult to clean and maintain, leading to yellowing corners that looked less than pristine. ② The desk design isn't very office-friendly, with no convenient power outlet locations. ③ The TV didn't have any brightness adjustment settings. ④ The two small night lights on the balcony seemed to be malfunctioning.

Today is our third and a last day at this wonderful, beautiful, and green hotel. Our booking included a transfer from the airport to the hotel. A very polite driver in a large minivan met us immediately upon exiting the airport in Sanya. Our journey was very comfortable. We highly recommend booking a transfer through the hotel. Before our arrival we contacted the hotel about the transfer. We were lucky – the Russian-speaking butler Anna quickly arranged everything and added us to the chat. From that moment the professional and helpful and just a wonderful girl Anna was always in touch, answering all our questions and requests and was always available throughout our stay. A big thank to Anna! The hotel grounds are spacious and beautifully maintained, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful greenery. Particularly impressive is the huge, well-kept lawn, which will remain green in the scorching sun. Every detail has been carefully thought out. The hotel is large, but very quiet and peaceful. Breakfasts are varied and delicious, both buffet and à la carte. Every day, there are six types of freshly squeezed juices, plenty of fruit and ice cream. Dishes from the à la carte menu are served quickly. They even have a durian soufflé on the à la carte menu. At 1:00 PM a small buffet snack is available at the western reception. Two coconuts with the hotel seal are provided daily in one room. We booked the Junior Bay Ocean Suite. It's a two-room suite with a larger balcony and a sea view. The room is fully equipped, including a Nescafé coffee machine, robes, slippers, a Dyson hairdryer, scales and more. There's a clothesline on the balcony, which is very convenient. I'm glad this hotel is eco-friendly: water is provided in paper bags, wooden toothbrushes, a wooden comb and paper packaging. The room was cleaned very thoroughly and twice a day! We have never seen anything like this anywhere else. Tea and coffee are refilled promptly. The free minibar is refilled every three days. Now about the sea: there are waves all the time, so there are very few swimmers. But we swam and loved the waves. The sandy beach is very clean, and the sea is a stunningly beautiful color. The beach is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, and you can always find one. The pools are great, but the depth is only 1.2 meters. This is convenient for children, as well as for non-swimmers. For those who can swim, the pools are shallow. The pools have two waterslides: one for very small children, one for older kids. Sun loungers are always available by the pool. Large beach towels are provided at the pools. There’s a tourist street outside the hotel just a 10-minute walk away with cafes and shops where you can try local food, tropical fruits, and even a shop selling durian, which you can also eat right there. We highly recommend this hotel. We'll definitely come back!

I stayed here last year on June 22nd. It was a brand new hotel then, and while the hardware and facilities were indeed excellent, the service was noticeably lacking, leaving me with a mediocre impression. My son, however, couldn't stop thinking about Sanyue zheng, so at his strong insistence, I 'reluctantly' booked two nights again this year, just for him. The day before check-in (I missed the call) and on the day of arrival, the hotel called to confirm our arrival time, number of guests, room type, and to arrange a butler service beforehand. This time, our assigned butler, Tiantian, was incredibly attentive. She messaged us at noon (afternoon) and in the evening to inquire about our plans, needs, and to offer warm reminders. She was always responsive to our requests, incredibly quick, and had a wonderful attitude. My son absolutely adored Auntie Tiantian! Upon check-in, we received heart-shaped rabbit cookies, and upon check-out, we even got a heart-shaped rabbit plushie as a souvenir. This stay truly showed me that the hotel is genuinely dedicated to providing a great experience. The door from the G floor to the fountain, which was manual last year, is now a sensor door. The path to the go-karts, which was there last year, has been replaced with a newly built wooden boardwalk. New additions this year include a reptile park, a fun animal farm, equestrian activities, and a sports park – all things that weren't there last year. This gave us a different experience and kept things from feeling stale or boring. The sky glass pool is beautiful, and the scenery is fantastic. Two large screens on either side were showing the World Cup football matches, bringing joy to a dad who was 'reluctantly' accompanying his son for a swim. Before, I was hesitant to stay at Sanyue zheng again, but now I'm already looking forward to booking a full sea-view room and a family room for our next stay. On this Sanya trip, I chose three hotels: a 270-degree sea-view room, a villa with a pool, and the Sanyue zheng landscape two-bedroom suite. My son's favorite was still Sanyue zheng! A wonderful trip also requires an attentive butler. I even received a warm greeting from 'Tiantian' after landing in Shanghai. You were the most beautiful 'surprise' of my trip!

Had a terrible experience. Paid a premium price for the worst room type, and they kept making excuses, blaming it on a system issue and then saying it was for 'traffic generation.' The biggest problem was no hot water for showers. The staff claimed it was because too many people were showering at night, but even when I tried to shower again the next afternoon, the water temperature was still the same. Their attitude was very insincere. Ultimately, Ctrip had to provide a solution. I will never stay here again.

The last stop of Hainan Island Tour (East Line) - Lingshui. At that time, I also placed an order based on the high ratings. When checking in, the front desk lady was very enthusiastic and smiling, which made people feel very warm. I didn't expect that the subsequent housekeepers and service staff were also very enthusiastic and warm, and any problems were solved in time. Go downstairs and walk across the road to the beach, which is very convenient for taking children to play or strolling on the beach. The room is equipped with advanced facilities and electric curtains. It is clean and hygienic, and the hot water for bathing is also comfortable. If you drive by yourself, you can park your car in the underground garage, which is very convenient. Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, it is delicious. I recommend the noodle soup, which is delicious! The best thing is that you can lie on the balcony and watch the sea, absolutely!

Having stayed in numerous hotels, including Capella Singapore and Capella Shanghai Jian Ye Li, Capella Tufu Bay now ranks very high on my list. There are three main reasons for this. Firstly, the exceptional service. Before my arrival, a travel and culture officer added me on WeChat. Luna thoughtfully arranged the airport pickup, and after check-in, she meticulously reminded us of the daily activities. On the day of check-in, besides Luna, another young man was also excellent. He enthusiastically introduced the room facilities, the unique features of each restaurant, and nearby attractions. When I mentioned that my husband enjoys tea, they immediately sent over a variety of black teas and a complete set of gongfu tea utensils. Capella pays great attention to detail; even the tableware at Tufu Bay is from an Italian brand with an impressive design. What truly delighted me were the bedding and pillows. The duvet was breathable, and I chose to replace the pillows with latex ones, ensuring a very comfortable sleep every night. The aunties who cleaned daily and provided turndown service were quick, gentle, and always accommodating. Whenever we walked around the hotel, the club car drivers would ask if we needed a ride, showing that the hotel's training for the entire team is very thorough! Next, let's talk about the food. My husband and I both loved Sabai Thai Restaurant and ate there for three consecutive days. Besides that, the breakfast at Silk Road Restaurant offered a wide variety of choices, with a corner featuring cuisine from a different country each day. Even the bread in the children's section was adorable. The hotel offers complimentary food all day. In the afternoon, there's an afternoon tea time with designated desserts and a self-service beverage model. The desserts included a cold drink, which I loved! In the evening, the lobby bar offers cocktails, followed by happy hour after dark with a live band, creating a wonderful ambiance. Finally, the abundant daily activities. For adults, there's fitness, sailing, spa, sachet making, and herbal pestle massages, while there are even more options for children, including childcare for younger kids and hands-on classes for older ones. Of course, travel photography is also essential. The photography studio is located within the hotel and offers makeup services, which is very helpful for someone like me who's not good at it. The photo results were also extremely satisfying. In summary, Capella Tufu Bay's welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home and allowed us to enjoy a wonderfully pleasant time.

My expectations were not disappointed; it was a truly pleasant surprise. The boathouse has a unique and novel design, making it truly special. Breakfast was abundant, and listening to the sound of the waves was incredibly soothing. The hotel butler was exceptionally attentive, responding super quickly and fulfilling every request. They even provided recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants, showing great diligence. Furthermore, the hotel grounds feature charming bridges, flowing water, beautiful flowers, and palm trees—every step reveals a new scenic view. It was a perfect stay.

I traveled with my best friend and stayed at the hotel for two days, so I wanted to write a proper review. We didn't do any research before choosing Xiangshui Bay; we just picked this hotel when we saw it. We drove there ourselves, which was convenient. The hotel is about 700-800 meters from the street, located in a villa area. The butler had informed us of our license plate number beforehand, as other cars aren't allowed in this area. Upon entering the villa area, I was struck by how large it was, but it felt a bit deserted. The check-in area wasn't what I expected. Having stayed at Raffles Hotel before, I assumed it would be similar, but there were only two young men there to greet us. However, I must say that the two men who greeted us were incredibly patient, and they should have upgraded my room for free—it was a whopping 500 square meters! After check-in, the butler took us to our room, and wow, it was huge! It took several minutes to get there in the sightseeing vehicle. Now, let's talk about the hotel itself. For this price, the room was excellent value. While the hotel facilities weren't particularly new, they were comprehensive and very comfortable. We had such a pleasant stay that we didn't want to leave. The butler was always available, which was wonderful. The hotel's public areas were a bit messy, perhaps due to the heavy rain, but the overall scenery was nice. I wasn't very satisfied with the food; breakfast wasn't a buffet. The hotel has its own restaurant, but it seemed rather empty. It's better to eat outside the hotel; the seafood restaurant across the street is particularly delicious, with great taste and reasonable prices. For those who prefer a quieter atmosphere, this is a great place. Renting a car would be more convenient, as it's quite far from the hotel. I would definitely bring friends here again next time. ✌️

I specifically chose to stay at the Ocean View Pavilion, and its biggest draw is the incredible convenience for snorkeling. The balcony opens right onto the sea, allowing you to hop in and swim with the fish whenever you like. This immersive near-shore snorkeling experience is truly unique. The only minor downside is that the room can be a bit humid; after all, facing the ocean means high humidity is an unavoidable issue for seaside rooms. Thankfully, the hotel thoughtfully provides a dehumidifier, which effectively alleviates any discomfort caused by the dampness. Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons. If you're looking for an immersive, close-to-the-ocean experience, this place is absolutely perfect. The unique near-shore access is something a standard sea-view room simply can't compare to.
