Essen Hotels with Free Breakfast

The exterior is a mess, but the interior is partly lovely. The rooms are small but tastefully renovated and very cozy. The bed, in particular, is incredibly comfortable. However, the rest of the building is ancient, which is especially noticeable in the cramped and rattly elevators from the 1960s. I had a room at the back, so it was quiet. Rooms facing the street, however, can be noisy. The price-performance ratio is very good.

My son really loved the hotel's design aesthetic. The room's decor perfectly matched the overall industrial, factory-like theme of the hotel. There was no kettle, coffee machine, or fridge in the room; if you needed anything, you had to go down to the bar. We bought some ham and fruit but couldn't finish it, so we had to store it in the fridge downstairs. The classic European breakfast offered very few hot dishes, mostly cold items. Luckily, there's a large Chinese supermarket nearby, which satisfied my Chinese palate!

Friendly staff. Nice and clean room. Delicious fresh breakfast buffet with extras made specially for you. Central location, easily accessible by public transport, and affordable parking is also available nearby.

I checked in at the hotel late on the first day of my trip to Essen, but thank you for the kind response of the staff when I checked in late at night. The room was a bit cold, but overall satisfied I rest well for 3 days

Highly recommended. Hotel is next to metro station. Walking distance to Messe Fair, also have a lot of restaurants nearby. The rooms are newly renovated, free coffee and tea are provided. The common rooms/areas are excellent to meet business partners. I definitely will book this hotel in next year.

The hotel's environment and location are both good, though the rooms are a bit small. The breakfast is also quite good, making it worth a subsequent stay. If you need help, you can contact the front desk staff, who speak English and provide decent service.

Based on the reviews, we didn't have high expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised and can only recommend the hotel. Large room, comfortable bed, and breakfast with extras. Street noise was disturbing, but it was quiet at night.

Located near the train station and the pedestrian zone, but not loud. The check in and check out was smooth. The room was quite large, the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was OK. There was a large clothes, many deposit boxes and sticks. nice would have been a additional water cooker plus tea bag. The room and all public areas were very clean.

The room is small, very small, the elevator is also very small, overall it is OK, Halloween, there are not many hotel rooms nearby. The most speechless was at ten o'clock in the morning, the staff knocked on the door, I didn't respond within ten seconds, I opened the door directly, I didn't wear clothes... I didn't come next time.

a 8 minute tram ride from essen center hbf. Then a minute walk to the hotel. Check in is lengthy, took like 5 minutes but the room/building is very clean and comfortable. Supermarket is right next to it so getting drinks and food is convenient.
