Amazing
AAnonymous UserHygiene: Yellow stains that had not been cleaned were found on the toilet
Environment: Halfway up Mount Wakakusa, isolated from the outside noise. The overall design style is modern Japanese. If you want to experience pure Japanese living, you should pay attention to the difference
Service: The service is still worthy of praise. The driver and front desk staff are very enthusiastic. They helped arrange the car to go up the mountain in the morning. It was very lucky to see đ deerđŚ on a rainy day
Food: Most of the food arranged is made from local ingredients in Nara. The ingredients are not gorgeous, the taste is OK, and it is more down-to-earth
ZZhi YiThis got to be one of the best rappers i had ever been to, (besides a few really high end resort in Bali). This resort service is impeccable. The kaiseki dinner is really delicious. The Garden is so well curated that it can compete with some of the shrine garden. And last but not least the onsen is truly relaxing and beautiful. One tip, is it place the herbal pack into the onsen early. It takes 6 hours for it to fully diffuse into the onsen.
KKinglumLoved the hotel!! Itâs in the center of nara city
Itâs 5 mins walk to the nara shopping area, 5mins walk to the nara park there is deer walking around the hotel in the morning
There is free morning city walk tour at 7:00-8:00 with local guide; the bicycle is free
The view of the pond is nice the service is great!! 5stars to everything
The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable
They have drink lounge for free use with unlimited snacks; fruit juice, sake, beer, wine from
15:00pm-2:00am
Really recommend everyone that travels to nara city to stay at this hotel!!
The only downside of this hotel is the breakfast only provides japanese style food ; grill fish and onigiri
The onigiri is huge, grill fish and miso soup is cold
I wish they can make the onigiri smaller so
We can taste more flavors
And hope that they can provide a bakery corner for people who doesnât like to eat fish
Otherwise we loved the hotel and want to go
Back again!!
Ps: there is not parking space so we need to park at the coin parking costs us 2400ÂĽ /night
GGuest UserExcellent service, high quality breakfast, very friendly and helpful staffs. The room is spacious and lovely. If you are lucky, you can even spot deers in your yard. An absolute pleasure staying at Shisui
GGuest UserThe room was spacious enough to open a large suitcase, and there was even a small walk-in closet. The bedding was incredibly comfortable and warm, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep! The service was excellent; unlike some hotels in Osaka, the front desk staff didn't ask for tips upfront. When I left something at the front desk, the gentleman immediately called to ask about it and even arranged for the elevator to wait on my floor. The location is fantastic, very close to all the nearby attractions, and within walking distance! A truly great experience!!
GGuest UserThe transportation is incredibly convenient; you can take an elevator directly from the platform to the front desk, so there's no need to worry about wind or rain. Plus, there are plenty of convenience stores nearby.
The hotel's own hot spring is open all night, which is perfect if you want to avoid crowds.
The entire place is clean and tidy, and the room even came with a multi-port charging cable, which shows great attention to detail! Thumbs up!
Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which is especially good for those who need to leave early. Check-out is quick and self-service. This is my second time booking this hotel, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Nara.
EeddiehappyA hotel full of history as it has been the chosen venue for important events in Nara. Many celebrities had stayed in this hotel including Albert Einstein. Tried the rice lager at the tea house which is very good tgough some may find it not strong enough. The vicinity is nice. It is within waljing distance of the famous Nara Park. The room is spacious. Shuttle bus service to Nara station is excellent. Very helpful staff. An enjoyable stay indeed!
AAnonymous UserClean, Modern, and Great Location!âPerfect stay at Henn na Hotel! The automated check-in was smooth, and the staff was very helpful when needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the high-tech features. Ideal location for exploring, and great value for money. Will definitely be back!â
MM333179****My trip to Japan was so enjoyable largely because of this hotel! I was initially worried about the two Superhotels, but this one was fantastic! It's right across from the JR station, and the staff at the front desk all speak Chinese, and I heard they also speak Korean, Japanese, and Englishâamazing! Communication was completely seamless. During check-in, they explained everything in detail, including pillows, pajamas, combs, shampoo, and more! The breakfast was delicious and very Japanese, and I noticed many Japanese people choose to stay here, which was really great. Nara Park is also within walking distance. Overall, I had a wonderful time. I've already recommended it to everyone I know, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kansaiâit's even cheaper than others! The rooms are small, but that seems to be a common problem with Japanese hotels.
GGuest UserItâs an old hotel. The only bonus I felt was being able to enjoy a private bath session with onsen water. The morning shift customer service was nice.
You need to be extra careful with the washing machines. I accidentally inserted coins twice at the same time, but the machine only counted it as one wash. I asked the evening staff for help with a refund because I pressed the refund button, but the coins didnât come out. Unfortunately, they couldnât refund it, and I felt a bit sad⌠đ
As a solo traveler, this hotel is a good choice if youâre on a budget and enjoy the old-style Japanese ryokan atmosphere.
