A hotel full of history as it has been the chosen venue for important events in Nara. Many celebrities had stayed in this hotel including Albert Einstein. Tried the rice lager at the tea house which is very good tgough some may find it not strong enough. The vicinity is nice. It is within waljing distance of the famous Nara Park. The room is spacious. Shuttle bus service to Nara station is excellent. Very helpful staff. An enjoyable stay indeed!

We decided on this because of the location and being able to spend time on the terrace. It's about an 8 minute walk to Nara National Museum, and if you walk a little further you'll be close to Todaiji Temple. I think it's a good location for walking and sightseeing around the area, and the roads along the way are very atmospheric. The staff were all very friendly and made me feel comfortable. In particular, the female staff member who realized that I didn't properly understand the free drinks at the cafe and explained it to me was very kind. After checking in, I went out to the terrace and sat and enjoyed the view of Sarusawa Pond and Kofukuji Temple in front of me, and it felt very luxurious. There is a Starbucks on the first floor of the building, so it is possible to take the drinks you buy there to the terrace. The hotel room is clean and quiet at night as there are no tourists nearby. The interior was stylish and the room was spacious. When you open the window shoji, you will see a three-storied pagoda right in front of you. However, I woke up at 6am to the sound of the temple bell. Well, that's the real thrill of Nara, isn't it? The public bath is small, but since I was using it on weekdays, I was lucky to be able to use it privately. It was also fun to be able to choose shampoo. Although there is no restaurant that serves breakfast or dinner, we were able to order a breakfast bento box that seemed to be outsourced when making a reservation. This was very delicious and a great choice. There are many delicious restaurants nearby for dinner, so I didn't have any problems. There is also a drink vending machine in the ba*****t, and there is a convenience store nearby, so you won't have to worry if you don't have much luggage. I was satisfied with the perfect service and clean rooms and bedding. There are some things to keep in mind if you are visiting by car. Only the paid parking lot affiliated with the hotel was difficult. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is a zone that becomes a pedestrian paradise, so you can only get there from an extremely narrow road. I had researched this in advance, so I was using a small light car and everything was fine, but I wonder what would have happened if it had been a car with number 3. Next time I visit, I will use another parking lot or take the train.

We stayed one night in FUFU Nara on the way from Tokyo to Kyoto. We took a special train - Aoniyoshi from Kyoto to Nara and it was very enjoyable ride. We took a taxi from Kintetsu Nara station to the hotel. Hotel staff greeted us right away and kept the our luggage for us until the check-in time. It is located next to Ukimido and we were able to visit Todaiji and the giant Buddha before the check-in. Once we return, we had a nice cold welcome drink. Hotel staff were very professional and friendly. It was obvious that they take a great pride on performing their tasks. Our room was super clean and modern with some Japanese touches. And the hot tub on the balcony was amazing. We contemplated between FUFU and the new Shisui, but we were very glad that we chose FUFU. At FUFU, I believe all rooms are suites and come with the private open air onsen. We did read some reviews on the noise. We did not notice too much especially after dodging so many screaming school children at Todaiji. At night, we had teppan yaki dinner for our anniversary. It was pretty cool to dress in yukata with a hanten jacket. The sandals were comfortable, also. We walked through the bamboo garden to get to the restaurant. Our chef was friendly and food was delicious. With sake pairing, we had a great time. Breakfast was served at the same restaurant, and the walk was beautiful in the morning. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The lady who served us explained each dish very politely. It's hard to believe they are so helpful even without any tips. Staying at FUFU made our stay in Nara very special.

A small Japanese-style hotel hidden in the mountains of Nara Prefecture, no matter where you come from, you can find the same feeling of home here. It can be comparable to the kaiseki cuisine of Michelin restaurants, so that you can taste the Japanese food that is completely different from the previous impression. After the cooking director carefully developed and according to the season, The food made by the guests' tastes is amazing! πππ The hotel also has translations for guests from different countries, and the translation and communication levels are professional! Guests can also visit the crafts workshops in the villages around the hotel. Every craftsman and their craftsman spirit is awesome! The village is surrounded by a large area of original fir trees. If you have the strength, you can also go close to nature, explore the monasteries and waterfalls. In short, I am very happy to stay, I hope that in different seasons we can go to the field Neold Hotel to have a different style! .

Good and spacious room. But here the automatic settlement system made me nervous. We arrived during the rain, it was impossible to walk around the city, and we went to the hotel a little earlier than 3:00 - at 14:10. We came and no one there. The castle hangs in which you have to pick up the key from which we have not been informed. Here we were sitting on the steps and didn't know what to do. The good thing is that at 14:32 the code from the castle came to the mail and we even settle a little earlier.
And so from the station 20 minutes walk, to the park with deer - also about 20 minutes.

Very beautiful new self-service apartment hotel. The size of the room is perfect, the quality of the appliances is very good, and the choice is tasteful. The bedding is very comfortable, plus the decorative color, everything gives the traveler a very warm feeling like a family, so it is very popular. Conveniently located next to JR train station and bus stop. Also, you will find good restaurants nearby. Everything is perfect. However, because it is a self-service hotel, luggage may not be stored, so be careful. Very nice new self-service apartment hotel. 1163vuvBooking because it was a new and clean hotel to see the advertisement in the story of Instagram. Location is good. The building and room are as impressive as the photos on the homepage. I wanted a bus mat and a bus mat if I raised something. I was happy with the free mini bar, but I wish there were a little more snacks. Dinner is good to look good but the taste is normal. There was no volume and I felt the speed of delivery because I had to eat immediately. Breakfast is buffet style except for the main 4 items. It was better than breakfast at a business hotel, but there was no impression like this. The staff was very young and had a lot of unfamiliar times. This time, I was able to stay at 10800 yen per person with 2 meals in the goto campaign, so I think it was enough to consider the price. It's subtle if you return to the usual fee...
GGuest UserWe've just come back from a wonderful holiday in Japan and had our first ryoken experience with Kotonoydo Musashino. Their website really helps you select the apartment that's most appropriate for you. We had selected the Yamabuki room. This is actually a little house that is set a little apart from the main building but this means that you've got great privacy and quiet. As part of the booking, you can select a dinner plan - definately the highlight for us! More on this later. If you have any dietary requirement, let them know. They can certainly accomodate you. On arrival, ladies are offered a choice of yukata. Men - you have yukata in the room. You will be asked if you would like to have breakfast served in your room or (and I would recommend this) if you'd like to have breakfast in the park opposite the Ryoken. You're shown the facilities and of course, the Onsen, before being shown to your room. This ryoken only had one shared bath type (seperate for males and females) but some rooms have their own private baths too - so select the room type that you're looking for. You are staying in Ryoken, you are not staying in a high-end Western hotel - and that's WHY you're choosing a Ryoken like this. Its all about the experience. You'll be served proper Matcha tea on arrival in your room before getting into your yukata. Make use of the Onsen (pay attention to bathing etiquette!). And then comes the meal. Your room attendant will come and serve your kaiseki meal, course by course - savour and enjoy! Our attendant (Miya-san) did a great job and together we muddled through my rudimentary Japanese and her English. After dinner, go back to the Onsen and relax while your room attendant changes the room for sleeping, laying out the beds and sheets for you. Now - is sleeping on a tatami mat the most comfortable experience? No - but it is an experience! In the morning, head back to the Onsen for a great 'wake-up' before going to reception to collect your breakfast bento box and head over to the park. We had the entire park to ourselves, except for a few deer, with a wonderful view down into Nara. We only stayed one night but you could certainly use this Ryoken as a base if your spending more time to explore Nara. Great hospitality and great memories! Highly recommended.
GGuest UserA beautiful hotel with wonderfully comfortable and characterful rooms, a very generous minibar, and a great location in central Nara. Special shout out to the service: we felt so welcome whilst we were staying there, and when we left (and left something really important behind!) the hotel staff moved heaven and earth to get it back to us.
