Bluesun Hotel Marina
"This used to be a very nice, pleasant, and quiet place, located near the sea and the beach. The location hasn't changed. The hotel staff is still very polite and helpful, the rooms are small but clean and quite comfortable. But in the last couple of years, the type of guest has changed radically. Most of the guests are now ill-mannered and rude ukrainians, who are inescapable, and whose screams are constantly heard. And to top it all off, there are hundreds upon hundreds of small children screaming, crying, and running around you in the dining room, on the paths, on the beach, everywhere. If all this doesn't bother you, then feel free to come here for an adventure."
Maestral Adults Exclusive Hotel
"This hotel is just average! The hotel is 'Beige' no colour anywhere except around the pool area which is full of 'agapanthus,' other than that totally soulless. The staff all look miserable and barely make eye contact. They have a no towels on sunbeds policy which they don't enforce at all, Music is too loud on the speaker system around sunbeds, which is annoying especially when live music happening in the hotel beach bar close by. No TUI rep in the hotel or any contact. Transfer bus dropped at hotel entrance on arrival but when we left we had to lug our cases up a very steep incline to a waiting mini bus , hotel staff didn't even say goodbye or look up, when we left and we never complained once to them, so had no reason to be like this ! No entertainment in the hotel at all! Make sure you pay for Sea View room or you will look over a car park. Bring your own beach towel as the one they give you barely covers the bed! We had to ask every day for a week for English Breakfast Tea which is easily available in shops close by. It arrived the day we left! Good Points - Location is wonderful, set back from very overcrowded beach, lovely promenade to lots of bars, restaurants and shops . Croatia is beautiful and although we were let down by this hotel for reasons above , it was actually one of the better hotels in that area, hotel next door to us had 500 rooms and 100 sunbeds, all jammed next to each other, and the one the other side of us - had no pool at all so everyone hit the tiny beach. We did have a beautiful pool, marvellous views which we paid £400 extra for as we were there for 14 days and the hotel was clean and had a marvellous smell in public areas."
Bluesun Mala Berulia
"I booked this hotel by chance, and it was amazing! Breakfast and dinner were included, and the dinner was fantastic! It's the best hotel I've stayed at abroad. The beach next to the hotel is also great for watching the sunset!"
Bluesun Hotel Soline
"The hotel is in a great location, just a few hundred meters from the beach, offering beautiful scenery. Restaurants are also nearby. The rooms are large, but the facilities are dated, and breakfast can be a bit noisy due to the large crowds. The breakfast quality is average, and the value for money is quite low. However, since it's located near one of Europe's top beaches, focus on the beach and don't expect too much from the hotel."
Hotel Sunceva Postelja Brela
"Small family hotel with good comfort and in the best location... the hotel is on the car-free promenade... the reception by the two ladies at the front desk, Kathia and Daniela, was perfect... the two also see that the breakfast buffet is always perfectly set up ...The rooms are large and modern...Room service is provided during breakfast...Below the hotel there is a beautiful small bay...There are also sun loungers for the hotel guests...I can only recommend this hotel"
Bluesun Hotel Berulia
"Great location, good equipments, very nice view from the restaurant and pool, good service, good breakfast, staff is nice. The hotel is a bit overpriced for the size, comfort and view of the room. Drinks and meals are also expensive. Prices are unreasonably high all around the city actually."
Villa MT Brela
"I rented the entire complex for 4 nights for my group of 10 in June 2024. We had an amazing time. The building is only a few years old. There are 4 apartments. #1 is 2 bedroom, 2 bath. #2 is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. #3 is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. #4 is a studio with a bath. All units have A/C. Apartments 1-3 had full kitchens with all the needed items, plates, silverware, cups, pots and pans, etc. Only hand soap and dish soap were provided, so bring all the toiletries you need. Bath towels are provided, but beach towels are not. Mattresses are on the firm side. The pool is great! The house is situated pretty high on the hill, about a 15-minute uphill walk, so it's great to have the pool to dive into after the hike back up the hill. Easy to get to. Parking in the garage for 1 car; 2 cars can fit in the driveway. The major problem we had was the studio had a very strong smell of mildew. The agency we rented through was kind enough to refund our money for the studio because sleeping there was impossible. Otherwise, I highly recommend apartments 1-3 and I would stay there again."
Villa AMore Brela
"First - the hosts are amazing! They met us at the parking lot and helped us with all the luggage. We received lots of good tips and help. Ante drove us to a bigger supermarket, another day he helped us buy some meat we could not find in the small supermarket and brought it to us, he was absolutely incredible. I have never met a better host! The accommodation was super nice! Fresh, felt brand new and clean and nice. Super nice terrace that belonged to the apartment as well as a roof terrace with a lovely view. There are quite a few stairs but it was absolutely no major problem. I loved this part of Brela which was quiet and cozy, a walk of about 20-30 min took us into the center of Brela where there were much more people everywhere and crowded on the beaches. There are several super nice beaches to choose from right below the stairs and there was plenty of space and not at all crowded on these beaches. There are also a few restaurants, a small supermarket and my favorite Waikiki Beach Bar just around the corner. I can really recommend this accommodation and I will definitely come back!"
