"We had a two night stay at the Lygon arms hotel and we have been there before. It is always good the rooms are clean and always comfortable. Food in the restaurant or the Tavern are excellent and the breakfast is delicious.  The staff are always friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is always clean and the massage is a great way to unwind. Broadway itself is also very nice and there is enough to keep you occupied for a couple of days and is a good base for exploring the Cotswolds further ."

"This is not a 5 star lodge/hotel. The grounds are maybe 4 star. The room is 3 star. The service is 1 star. We had to fill out our breakfast choices on a list like you’d do in a 3 or 4 star restaurant the day before. And as if that’s not bad enough, the food is rationed. You get one mushroom and one sausage on your plate. They do not have veggies to add to an omelette. They can’t make boiled eggs. If you happen to forget to fill out the breakfast list the day before, they have no flexibility. You just won’t eat, because the food is rationed out precisely as to how many guests will eat. The number of eggs is exact etc. The same women who cook also clean, so they are visibly irritated when you show up without submitting your choices the night before because they have to hurry to clean the rooms. They only serve breakfast in a 1.5 hour window because they have to rush to go and start cleaning the guest rooms. We asked for extra towels and extra water in the room. It never happened. The bath soap was not refilled. The cleaning ladies left their cleaning agents in our bathroom twice. I have never seen this happen before in a 5 star hotel. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this is DEFINITELY NOWHERE near 5 stars. It is 3 star at the most! They are clearly trying to make a huge profit by economizing their supplies, food and staff!!! And the outside of the door is unkempt. The room is tired, the bed is tiny, bed sheets are low quality and the entire room is NOT 5 star !!"

"Admin mix up of our room caused a lot of confusion. There was no one on site to help us. There is also no air conditioning. Other than that, it is a safe and comfortable place to stay."

"In the town of Broadway, I saw peace and tranquility, and those quaint buildings. The hotel is located among a group of distinctive buildings. Although it is an old building, it is very well decorated, and the modern and ancient elements complement each other. The room is small and cozy, and the bathroom is clean and tidy. The hotel has several options for breakfast, which is pure British style and quite satisfactory, with large portions and delicious taste. However, I do not recommend choosing Scottish smoked fish as it is too salty. The bar is quite lively at night, and you can taste the local GIN wine. Turn right when you exit the parking lot and walk to the end. There is a cafe there which is quite popular. You can have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake and chat with the locals."
