"We have just experienced 10 nights at Aloha on our first visit to Norfolk Island. We are happy with every aspect of our stay. The location in the centre of Burnt Pine was perfect. We found the apartment very comfortable and met our needs very well. We appreciated be able to either cook a meal, use the poolside bbq or wander to Bowling Club or other venue for meals. The reception staff are AWESOME! This morning I inadvertently left a small item in a drawer. Sue from reception tracked us down to deliver it to us! "We stayed in a 'superior' room as part of a group booking. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were included in our package and the food was very good. Breakfast choices alternated each day - could perhaps have been a little more variety (a small niggle). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Car hire from the hotel was excellent value and super convenient. WiFi was the only weak point - it was free but very slow at best and unusable on some occasions. The primary login they provided does not use a secure connection. There was a separate SSID for Superior rooms (which was secure) but only worked in the room - still slow."

"Comfortable,clean & kitchen well equipped. Comfortable for 4 elderly people. Garden well manicured. Pleasant surroundings. One problem was the taps in the bathroom needed new washers as slow drip if not turned off firmly .Was advised in our review on leaving as we knew water conservation was an important issue on the island."

"We found Ocean Breeze to be very comfortable, very well-equipped, and well located. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the few simple meals we prepared (actually we could have cooked more complex meals, but we were on holidays!) The living area was ample with comfortable seating. There is a TV and DVD player (BYO DVDs - Norfolk Island TV isn't much, and there were very few DVDs in the library - don't bring Blu-rays). The bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was fairly spacious with plenty of hot water. The whole unit was spotlessly clean. There is a nice little patio for sitting outside and enjoying the spectacular view of Philip Island, and the units are cleverly placed to ensure that no one looks into anyone else's space."
