Songdo
It is a new five star hotel in songdo beach so i decided to check it out. I had two separate stays for couple days each in the span of 10 days. The hotel is awesome and they upgraded me to a suite. Everything is new and clean... with that said, where do i begin. First of all nowhere in the wyndham website was stated that it was a soft opening. No room service and no lounge. The staff were very courteous but had incorrect information about a lot of things which made it very confusing. The water from the faucet had a little chemical smell. The elevators were the most inefficiently set up from parking to the room. The breakfast set up was scattered in inconsistent. I would have changed hotels after the first stay but wifey loved the rooms so we went back the second time. They should really have some, any, benefits for diamond members other than upgrades which they probably wont give if they are fully booked.

First of all, they were very kind even though they were very busy during the holiday season. However, the check-in time was 3 o'clock, but they said the room wasn't checked, so I couldn't get the room key until 4 o'clock. But if you plan to use the pool right away, it's not a big inconvenience :) The water pressure in the bathroom was low, and it was inconvenient because there was no trash can in the bathroom. The rest was overall clean and good. They listened to my requests well, so I was satisfied :)

Hmm... I'm satisfied overall. The sink in the bathroom is marble, but the mouthwash cup was a glass cup, which seemed very dangerous. I went with my family and my aunt accidentally broke the cup. What would happen if the glass and marble hit together? Of course it will make a jingle. It would have been okay if it was plastic, right? I wasn't hurt, but I paid for the cup. The amount was not large, but I was curious about whether they would pay the hospital expenses if my aunt got hurt. A lot of people came as families, but if a child did that, it would have been a dizzying situation. I think it would be right to supplement that part. When I went to the buffet restaurant, I was informed that it was on the 2nd floor, but I went inside and didn't know if I should go left or right or go further inside. It's a bit different from the other building... And although 2 people were included in the hotel price, you had to pay for 1 person. The two of them came up a little late because they were taking pictures downstairs, but I was the only one there in a situation where there were no people at all. When I was told that the person who paid the bill should enter first, I said, ”Oh, I'll go with you since you're downstairs.” No, I almost pointed out that you have to go in first. I heard it twice. I hope you work reasonably well.

Haeundae/Centum City
Nice central hotel right on the beach. The room was large, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The mini bar was free once per stay, there was still water, sparkling water and a pack of Pringles. Unfortunately there were a lot of children in the pool area, so swimming or relaxing was hardly possible. It would be good if the pool was only open to adults in the evening hours. The staff were very friendly. Overall very satisfied with the stay.

My family and I stayed at the hotel from 26 Dec to 28 Dec 2023 and upon checkout, the staff insisted that they had issues reversing my 200 000 krw deposit because I didn't use the same card. This is strange and confusing because I only used one credit card the whole time in Korea. I also used the same card to pay for the hotel booking upon check in. We stayed in other Lotte Hotels in Korea and compared to those hotels, our experience at Lotte Hotel Busan was not the best. During check-in, i had several questions for the staff assisting us but she told us curtly that she will explain this later. Perhaps it was a language issue but definitely rubbed me the wrong way. During our time using the pool, different lifeguards asked me on two separate occasions if my family had registered to use the pool -- we paid for the pool usage and received wristbands. They also hovered around my family quite a bit - prolly cos my husband's arm tattoo was showing under his shirt and my kids are rather loud (they are 3 and 6 fyi). We were also told by the staff to keep our 3 year old quiet. We understand that compared to perhaps other Korean children, our child can be quite loud. We tried our best to keep him quiet but he is just 3 and simply excited to be there and it was not so nice to feel like we were being watched all the time for our child.

First of all, the staff were friendly and the inside of the building was pretty. The lounge is also very spacious, which is nice. Korean restaurant Naedang was also delicious and great. The rooms are clean and the interior is nice. However, it is very far from all the famous tourist attractions in Busan. You have to take a taxi for 30-40 minutes. Dongnae-gu itself is not a particularly famous tourist destination. I want to relax at a hotel for the purpose of using the hot springs > Highly recommended You can do anything at the hot springs or not. I want to see famous tourist attractions. > Not recommended.
