"Staff was very slow to respond between 4am and 5am to multiple calls about a loud siren sound within the room. It was horrible, sounding by every 2 minutes. Later when I approached the manager, Lilly, she abruptly cut me short when I tried to explain what happened and instead had me talk to front desk staff instead. I don’t wish this experience on anyone. At that time of the night, the problem should have been handled as an urgent matter. The Dan Hotel is understaffed for handling emergencies at night, saying that there was only one person on standby at night. Furthermore Lilly the manager showed a lack of tact and consideration which, had she handled the situation better than she did, could have made the situation less frustrating. Otherwise the stay was enjoyable."

"We had a great weekend! A very nice, clean room with a stunning view to the sea. The staff were super friendly. Especially we enjoyed from the SPA. The massage was one of the best we ever had! The food was good, but we were missing some variety and more healthy options. In the swimming pool, there were clean towels missing. But except of those small rejected, it was perfect. And we consider to come back even for one day just for the massage."

"If you want to ruin your vacation, you have to stay here at your own expense. The hotel manager is the one who makes you want to change hotels, and you'll get it. He's an elderly man, clearly tired from work, and he hates everyone around him, especially those who came here for vacation. You'll hear him swearing at you, and he won't be happy to check you in and will say so. The question is, how does the hotel management keep him?! Or rather, what's his motivation?"

"This is not the first time I have stayed at the Zamarin and it never fails to disappoint. I stayed in the Flagship Room which is slightly larger than the next room down, where I have also stayed very happily and has a lovely balcony where you can see a bit of the Mediterranean. It is always special to see even a partial sea view! This is a small boutique hotel so reception is not open all night long. But they have a lovely little coffee space/wine bar, both of which are complimentary for hotel guests. The spa is lovely and massages great. I find the hotel quiet and private, for those looking for some down time and just a place to chill. The managers and staff are very accommodating and helpful and it's got a certain home-away-from home feel. I will be coming back in April!"

"Very comfortable suite, wide comfortable double bed. Lovely view of the sea from the windows and the verandah. Dining Table and chairs in the suite. The room looked a little shabby, but it was very quiet despite the number of people in the hotel. There was no coffee machine but there was a big kettle and roomy fridge. The elevators were fast and efficient. There was a wide choice of food for breakfast. Coffee was great. There was no freshly squeezed juice, or goats cheese or goats yogurt. It wasn't gourmet but there was plenty to choose from an open buffet. The dining room was full at breakfast time, and a little too noisy for us. On the other hand, the staff were kind and friendly. Free parking about five minutes walk away Lovely easily accessible beach. Fitness room, Indoor swimming pool and showers all spotlessly clean . We were sorry that we didn't have time for a swim in the pool. There is a very nice shopping center about five minutes drive from the hotel. We will definitely come again to this hotel."
