"Honestly, this place felt more like an apartment block than a hotel once we stepped inside. If you're thinking about booking it just for the price difference to stay in Barcelona, be careful—commuting daily can get really tiring. The trains stop around 11 PM and aren't always reliable. We once waited 2 hours just for a 15-minute ride to Blanes, which was super frustrating. The walls are thin, so if you have noisy or snoring neighbors, it'll definitely annoy you at night. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest either, which was disappointing. Staff-wise, I only felt welcomed by the blonde lady at reception. The others were blunt and dry. One big issue: the phone in our room didn't work, so we went down to ask for an iron. They took a few hours to bring it over—by then we were already bored and had left. Also, one night we were super thirsty and the guy at reception charged us 6 euros for two small bottles of water at midnight. If I'd seen the price before paying, I'd have just ordered from Uber. What even? Late at night, the only open restaurant nearby is McDonald's, which adds to the inconvenience. Overall, not worth the hassle unless you're okay with all these downsides."

"Great location, close to restaurants, and within walking distance of the lighthouse, which is a lovely spot, and the beach. The hotel is very quiet and has everything you need. The service is excellent, very friendly. Everything was great."

"If I could score a zero I would ! Checked in Sunday had to send all My details through email to the lady on reception I found very bizarre, there is no children’s club ,entertainment it’s just a hotel with a pool ,on the Monday the hotel was full of men at least 30 of them glaring at you and your family from what we gathered they were contractors from Barcelona we felt very uneasy at this hotel even walking the streets you would be looked down on and glared at never again will I ever visit Bon Repòs nor Caella not for tourist ! This was our first family holiday The only good thing was the weather !!!!"

"Looks half decent from the outside but wait untill you get inside. First an unusual welcoming from a funky smell, me and my friends had room 217 broken air conditioning handles falling off drawers. then my friends gets food poisoning from uncooked chicken wouldn’t even rate this place one star. Staff don’t clean rooms if anything make them worse absolutely horrible experience."

"Neat hotel, nice room, good location. I was there in July, but what I missed was a blanket on the bed; there was only a sheet on the bed and no blanket in the closet either. I told them the next day that you have to ask for a blanket at the reception desk. I found that odd, and now I was unnecessarily cold, which wasn't necessary. The breakfast was excellent, and you can also visit the spa for €12 per person."
