The uninterrupted views of the beautiful bay, the dedicated kindness of the staff, the outstanding food, the waiter table service and well appointed rooms make this hotel perfect. Situated in a tiny village… with amazing bus services… it is paradise! Be warned this is not the right place for you if you want a lot of entertainment and English pubs."

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Can Simoneta Hotel. Everything about this place is simply beautiful and peaceful. The location is stunning, with breathtaking sea views, olive trees, and such a calm atmosphere. Waking up to that view every morning felt unreal. The hotel itself is very stylish and well designed, blending perfectly with nature. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very relaxing. Every detail felt thoughtful and high quality. Breakfast was also a highlight, enjoying fresh food with an incredible view of the sea made it even more special. The staff were friendly, professional, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, luxurious escape, this place is perfect. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!"

"CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING regarding severe allergies. I stayed/ate here on May 30 - June 3, 2026 and explicitly noted a severe walnut allergy on the arrival paperwork. Despite this, I was served food containing that exact allergen even though it was not listed on the menu. This is a severe failure of communication and safety protocols. If you have life-threatening allergies, be aware that their intake paperwork was not cross-referenced with the kitchen or dining room in my experience."

"Just came back from a week at this hotel. Firstly the hotel is in a great location, so near the beach you can't go wrong. We knew when booking, that there was nothing to do around the area and as we wanted a quiet break we weren't put off by that. The beach has two restaurants which were okay for a meal or drink. Around 6 shops nearby for anything you need. Two further restaurants near the hotel which we didn't visit. At the hotel we were given an apartment, which was nice and spacious but very dated. We had lovely views from both balconies and were happy overall. It soon became apparent that the air conditioning wasn't working properly and we reported it the following day. Over the week, we were sent back and forth reception being told different things by different staff members who told us maintenance would be sorting it and then that it had been sorted. It did not get sorted and when asked if we could change rooms, they told us we could not. Despite all members of reception being nice to us nothing or no-one helped us to sort the problem. (One male receptionist wasn't helpful and tried to insult me with the "language barrier" being the problem). The room was unbearable for the week and we were unable to sleep through the night. The rooms weren't cleaned and we only had a change of towels and bed made twice. The rest of the time we had to go to reception who would give us towels when asked. Food was as you expect for this type of hotel and it was varied and edible. The staff at the restaurant were exceptional and worked hard and you had to feel for them as they were saturated in sweat throughout their shifts. You would also be sweating throughout your meal despite being outside, the hotel really should invest in some outdoor fans. Bar staff were also helpful and worked very hard all day and night. These would also benefit with some help of being more comfortable in the heat for their shifts. The entertainment left alot to be desired. As an adult only hotel you would hope that adult theme entertainment would be on offer. Despite the notice of what was on offer throughout the day, only aqua aerobics were offered in the morning (which was the same every day and went on for far too long). In the afternoon there was either water polo or learning a dance. The evening entertainment was dreadful, only two nights consisted of outside entertainment which was a South African female singer who was fantastic along with an acrobatic show of two men who were equally fantastic. The rest of the week consisted of a sort of disco or the entertainer (Juma) making the best of his entertainment skills. We feel the hotel let down Juma the entertainer by not giving him the money to invest in more beneficial acts for you to enjoy. Juma is a lovely guy who works hard and interacts with guests making sure they are all okay, but again we feel he is being let down by what he can do. Despite wanting a quiet holiday we felt we have had a boring holiday"

"The apartment was great, perfect for our needs. Great value for money. Very clean, quiet and had all necessary things to cook basic meals and prepare good breakfast. Great was to have normal, big fridge and espresso coffee machine :-) It is about 100 m to the beach which was perfect. Beach very nice and clean and also nice restaurants and some shops around. Owners were friendly and communication without any problem. Self check in went smoothly, all necessary info were sent before arrival. We also appreciate that Canyamel is quiet, surrounded by nature and 3 min by car it's beautiful golf course! At the end we made the reservation directly with the owners and all worked perfect, so we recommend it!"
