Waterfront
Advantages: It is close to the waterfront, the room is okay, and the space is large, with a separate living room. Disadvantages: Although it is close to the waterfront, the front and back buildings perfectly block all the landscape, and the waterfront and the Table Mountain cannot be seen. The worst part is that the hot water in the room is not automatic. My partner and I turned around for a long time and found a button. The water wasted for a long time. One person finished washing the other without hot water ... The worse thing is, A 1,000zar deposit was charged. My partner and I forgot to take the deposit when checking out, and they did not remind me. Then we took the deposit bar to retrieve the deposit, saying that the envelope in which our deposit was placed was missing, and we asked him to adjust the monitoring. One of them said that they could not take money from other places, but that the person in charge of the monitoring room was not there. We have to wait for the buddy who checked out the next day to come to work to pay the deposit. We also left our contact information and said that it resolved it and called us, but we did n’t call until the next day. Fortunately, we did n’t rush to rush the plane that day. The next day we went to get the money and the little brother took it out. 1000zar returned to us. I think as a hotel, the deposit bar is the proof that you owe the customer money. No matter where you keep the deposit, it should be returned unconditionally at the first time. If you do n’t lose your envelope, do n’t dare us. Those who check in must remember to take the deposit bar, we are fortunate to save it this time, otherwise they will be hacked. As a large hotel, the quality of employees is very problematic.

I'm curious why Chinese tourists don't comment on Ctrip. I stayed for four nights and would like to share with you my objective experience of staying. The room is very small. Although the family room has been upgraded, there are two small beds in each of the two separate small rooms, which basically takes up the room space. The facilities are a bit old. Although the faucet and hardware are Hansgrohe, and the toilet is also a famous brand, they are still a bit old and cannot be compared with domestic hotels of the same price. After talking about the bad points, let’s talk about the highlights: the breakfast is very good, with a variety of varieties, and the service is in place. The restaurant is on the other side of the hotel, you need to pass through the Business School of the University of Cape Town, and you can see the Victoria Pier. The location is also very convenient: it is convenient for eating, shopping, and sightseeing. It feels like it is on the edge of the business district, suitable for walking and shopping.

This visit was booked through our safari operators in South Africa. We’d read the reviews and they were all very positive. We’ll add ours to that list. Quick check in after an extremely long day reaching the hotel. As in most late arrivals, you have no idea where you are except in the broadest sense. Lovely person got us into our room and by then it was after Midnight. The room, although not huge, was perfect. You weren’t stepping over your suitcase to get to the bed, temperature was perfect without the need of any A/C or heat, and it was quiet. Breakfast, one of the things we always check in any review, was ample. The chef making the eggs was great. Cooked to order and perfect. Coffee comes to you via a smiling server. Hot items are on offer, as well as cold cuts and several varieties of cheese. The usual fruit, yogurt and bread is also served. Very pleasant ladies working the room taking care of the guests. Hard workers. The location turned out to be a major positive. Walk out to the street, take a right, and you’re a short stroll to the harbor and its hustle. Restaurants abound. Although we rarely, if ever, visit a mall, the one next to the harbor is huge. We walked through it the first day to get our bearings. If you forgot to pack a sweater or shoes, you’re covered! Everything from a Rolex to a quart of milk is available. The harbor is interesting. Short cruises are offered; some as long as an hour, but many are 30 minutes long and come with a narrative that explains what you’re seeing. Table Mountain is your backdrop for the harbor. Beautiful. The hotel is a solid choice if you want to be close to the harbor and all the activities it provides. Recommended.

I don't think it is a four stars hotel, there is no breakfast, no lunch, no gym, the receptionists are all cold. Regardless I checked in very late, but they required all to check out by 11am. That is really inconvenient. I book the family room, the sofa bed is next to a very noisy air-conditioner outlet, and the sofa bed is too heavy to move, maybe it was fixed to the floor. Will not consider to stay there again.

Magnificent hotel, superb quality in all aspects. Spacious rooms, superb quality room tastefully decorated with African authentic furniture, top quality bed and linens, Magnificent breakfast with all possible options catered for. Wine tasting with a very articulate professional Sommelier, Grant, who's knowledge of wines and grapes around the world was fantastic. All staff personable, professional and a pleasure to interact with. Our best ever hotel experience. A stay we hope to repeat:).

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights recently with a spacious room on floor 1 facing the harbour (I highly recommend this floor as the rooms we are told are larger). We had a nice sitting area by the windows, and the bathroom was large and nicely designed and well lit. The robes were SO SO soft!! The bed was a tad soft but still comfortable. We had an included breakfast daily which was quite good with several delicious hot items on the menu. The porters outside were exceptionally helpful -- we used Uber several times, and they went to the street to ensure they drove in to get us. The location is fantastic with a perfect view of Table Mountain and the harbour, and of course the Waterfront restaurants and shops are right there. My only suggestion to the hotel is that the rooms need a deep cleaning -- some of the upholstered furniture is stained, and the bath grout needs cleaning too. Otherwise things were perfectly clean.
