"Duro Beach is very well located and it is very nice but it has very bad service. The owners don't care about service and about having their clients happy. I made some complaints about service but the owners just told me that I had had bad luck!!! Amazing answer!"

"We were very welcomed by the staff of the hostel Morning coffee was very good with several options I have a few comments for a charming hostel: I had the rest of work near the entrance of the room: hand car, stones, swabs, which compromised my experience- the q was to be a garden (cred!!) seemed to be a unfinished workshop. The pool nearby, behind the reception had a place, q I believe q was previously attended by the guests to take photos, but q seemed abandoned, with old plastic chairs/ old children toys that compromised my experience These details are contained in an experience for charming hostel"

"The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. The location, although close to the center (5 min walk), is in a secluded area and at night it seemed a little unsafe. But everything went well. The breakfast is simple, but it was sufficient for us. The room has a very nice hot tub."

"I was going from Fortezza to Cruz/Praia about 16:00 and I called at the reception to ask how long the buffet was served. The answer was 20:30. I stopped there at 16:30 and had no more lunch. Part of the cardapio lanches missed. The meal-white sandwich is curiosous, it comes out of the Australian bread but it has a little taste of anything. The juices of the cotton are well made, it is worth proving caju and goiaba. I stood there to eat, but you have the convenience store in front."

"We stayed here for 10 days and simply cannot say enough good things about the hotel Firstly the staff were all excellent, the girls on the front desk helped us arrange tours and taxis when needed. Check in and check out were faultless The kitchen/bar staff were happy and helpful. The bar service throughout each day was brilliant, always checking whether we needed a drink/food. Speak of which both were excellent and very well priced. The breakfast as already mentioned in other reviews was also very good and catered for all needs with a variety of fresh and cooked options. We stayed in the king suite and we were pleased to have done so, the open air bathroom is very unique and adds to the experience. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided when asked for. For kitesurfing, there is plenty of lockers available for your gear. A compressor is provides to pump kites and a centre is also on hand for equipment/lessons. Would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it to others. "
