The staff was amazing! Everyone we encountered were extremely welcoming. The inn offers free water, soda, tea and coffee 24hrs a day. Free wine, cheese and meat plates from 5-7. Complementary breakfast in bed and free parking.
If you are looking to relax on a get away this is the perfect place.
The staff goes above and beyond!! They are walking distance from many attractions and quite at night. You're going to love it here.

I have always wondered what it would be like to live in one of those classic Charleston houses. 20 South Battery gave me that opportunity and more. From the warm greeting upon arrival to the fine service you receive at breakfast and at the wine and cheese hour, one gets a glimpse of the best Charleston has to offer.

We chose this because it was close to water and the pictures looked beautiful. The gardens were pretty and hotel was quiet and private if you chose to desire privacy. The breakfast was good, not a lot of choice but more like continental than a full breakfast. The bed was comfortable and room was cool as it’s hot there this time of year. The only issues were the lack of thorough cleaning of room, floors are very old therefore there can be bugs that come out at night etc. also would be nice if the baseboards were cleaned and behind furniture. Bathroom was clean with tile instead of the old wood floors, was pretty small though but that’s due to keeping with the style and date of home. I did enjoy our stay but would o probably choose something a little newer or at least restored more thoroughly.
