We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks so much to Katie for making sure we got accommodated, even though we came past midnight already and were told there were "overbooking" issues. We originally booked one room with 2 king size beds but were told it was given away. Katie called other partner hotels to try to book us but was declined. After minutes of scouring through computer records, she found us 2 rooms and we were comfortably accommodated. Thank you, thank you! Plus, Charlotte is such a beautiful city! Totally worth our time and resources. :)

The hotel was in a great location for us. Although this hotel seemed fairly new, there was a lot of wear and tear to the hotel and rooms. There wasn’t any hair dryers in the rooms, front desk manager told us a lot of items were missing from rooms because new management was doing a full inventory, asked for a hair dryer and they didn’t have any. The room didn’t have any hand soap or lotion like is expected from most rooms and only 1 hanger in the wardrobe, all minor things that made it just a little annoying.

Very typical IHG Express property. Simple, basic furnishings and clean rooms. We were greeted professionally, checked in quickly, and the front-desk person gave us a quick run-down of the area. Like most Express properties, ample number of plugs and USB ports to charge things, but there were a few that previous guests had broken trying to mis-plug a USB plug. ONe interesting thing was the desk lamp which had outlets that could accommodate different international plugs. Bathroom was clean, the chaise-lounge in the room comfortable, and the bed was comfortable as well. Morning breakfast was lacking (as most "extra services" are these days), not a whole lot of options and what there was seemed very "average".

No hand soap or towels in the room, was told by front desk there weren’t any clean towels left. Room was dirty, food on floor from previous guests and hair left in the bathroom. Would never stay here again.

Property is really nice. It looks renewed and very comfortable. Service was awful. The worst experience I have ever had. Room of 4 , 2 adults 2 kids only two towels. Asked for more at 9am, nobody ever delivered them. Shower wasn't heating up and couldn't get it to come out from the main shower head. They never made our room, with bathroom damped because of shower. Next room had trash on the door that was never picked up. I would recommend the facilities only if they change all their service.
